The condo was very nice and the right size for me and my wife to enjoy. The ocean waves crashing against the shore at night made sleeping enjoyable. Location on the West side of Maui was convenient to many activities.

Beautiful condo with ocean view

We had a lovely vacation in this cute condo. The view is stunning and we saw whales jumping in the distance. You also have a view of the sunset over the ocean and two nearby islands. There were plenty of towels and beach supplies. The neighborhood is nice and it is a good location. There isn’t an air conditioner but in February we were comfortable with the air flow from the lanai and they have ceiling fans and a stand fan. It might get a little warm in the summer though, not sure. The hosts provided helpful suggestions and added a very personable and welcoming touch with their Aloha spirit and good communication. Hope to stay here again!

“No issues” vacation

The best vacation is a “no issues” vacation. From beginning to end, this was a relaxing and wonderful choice. We would do it again next week, but “reality” is calling us home.

Captivating Ocean Views

We had a nice time staying in West Maui for 6 nights. This condo has amazing views of the ocean and one of our days we even saw whales fairly close by (from the lanai)! The lanai is a wonderful place to watch the waves day and night. There is also a beautiful pool and ocean viewing platform. The condo is beautifully decorated and the room divider between bedroom and living corridors is really helpful. The owner Kim and property manager Michelle are both fast at communicating if you need any help. This condo is close to many wonderful beaches and restaurants.

Perfect home base

Our rental was the perfect space for us during our stay in Maui. The views were incredible, every morning we watched the whales from the patio. The amenities were great-Kim and Scott provide all of the extras like beach gear, coolers, and snorkel equipment. The bed was comfortable and we had to come home and buy a sound machine to replicate the sound of the waves that put us to sleep every night. The unit is also close enough to walk to lots of places including a beach, restaurants and a grocery store. We would 100% stay here again.

Maui Condo

Perfect property for stay in Maui. Super clean and exactly as shown. We stayed for a week and saw whales from the balcony every day. Nice quiet location that made for a dream vacation. Good as a base for further exploration or simply chilling and enjoying the view. Highly recommended.

Incredible stay

Trip of a lifetime for us and this condo couldn’t have been more perfect! It went above and beyond – super clean, killer views, and cozy-chic! Check-in was a breeze, tons of parking, and the place was well-kept. Bonus points for having snorkeling gear, cooler, and beach chairs – made our beach days even more awesome. Perfect location to check out different beaches or grab a bite to eat, but honestly the kitchen had everything for homemade meals too. Kim and Scott are fantastic hosts- easy communication, personable, and kind. We will definitely be back. Totally recommend it!

Awesome spot.

The condo was clean, with a great view. The host provided a lot of great info that made our stay very enjoyable. The one way we would have been more comfortable is if the unit had AC. After the first day of having the condo windows open and the fans on it was not bad, but the first night was hot.

Wonderful visit to Maui!

This was our first trip to Hawaii. The condo was spectacular. It’s location to stores, shopping and beaches is perfect. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend staying here. The owner Kim Essig was very easy to work with and was always available to help with questions we had.

Great Time in Maui

Hale Ono Loa #306 was a fantastic home base for our vacation in Maui. The location was great for visiting several beaches and eating great food. Close to the Kaanapali hotels on the beach, Whaler's Village, and Napili Bay in Kapalua. Loved the view of the ocean and the sound of the waves day and night. Highly recommend!

Total Perfection

Their 5-star rating speaks for itself. This place is total perfection. My girlfriend and I were there for a week and were as comfortable as could be. Plenty of space for the two of us, the bed is super comfy and we slept very well. But that balcony/view is something else. We were up every day around 7am and just sat there for an hour or so having coffee and taking it all in (we were able to see turtles from the complex as well). Kim was also amazing by being very communicative from the time we booked all the way through checkout. She also gave us a huge list of recommendations which were all great. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Quiet Oceanside retreat with everything we needed

This place was perfect place to unwind at the end of the day of exploring the island. Beautiful views from the lanai of the ocean. As it was during mating season we saw a lot of whales from the property. There are several great take out restaurants, coffee shop, and grocery stores within walking distance. We would recommend this to our friends and family looking for a couples getaway.

Perfect Couples Retreat on Maui's West Side

This Condo had everything we needed for our stay, including a nice ocean view to observe the whales. It is also in our preferred location between Kaanapali and Napili. The Essig's were great hosts. They communicated quickly and well throughout the process. If I had to come up with one thing to pick at it would be that the community pool was a little too cold to comfortably enjoy (February stay). I would recommend it to couples looking for a nice place to enjoy their time on Maui.

Cute, colorful condo in Maui!

Thanks Kim for your great communication and a wonderful stay! Although the weather was (surprisingly) less than ideal, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your cute condo. Beautifully decorated with a colorful, beachy theme, we had everything we needed at our home away from home. We especially loved sitting on the balcony for breakfast and watching the ocean. Highly recommended!

Beautiful condo with a view in heart of Lahaina region!

A perfect condo for a week long stay in Maui. It looked exactly like the photos, was very well kept, and beautifully decorated for a cozy and welcoming stay. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet at night. Being on an upper floor was nice as well to see the ocean from the balcony- and Kim the owner makes it so easy with all of her recommendations of good spots nearby. We found it quiet and respectful in the building which was lovely- and Kim also had equipment stored like umbrellas, boogie boards and beach chairs as well as snorkel gear! We used the chairs/umbrellas on our first day there to snorkel at nearby Kapalua beach (highly reccomend as its great snorkeilng and only 15min away by car). We were too big for the snorkel gear so rented that (as the sizes there were just on the smaller size for a taller lady as I'm a size 10- but still truly appreciated that it was there). There is also a laundromat in the building, and Kim's storage unit also had laundry detergent there(woohoo!). We ended up not needing to do laundry but its $1.50 per wash load (and dryers are also there for same price I think). It only takes quarters so bring those just in case you need! The parking was easy with a rental car as there's a lot at the condo property so you just put your permit that comes with the condo in the unit. There was always parking for us even when it got more crowded as we were there for new years. Really appreciated how thoughtful Kim's communication was and how much she provided in terms of tips of what to do with the condo binder of things to do/ reccos. Many thanks / Mahalo!

Kim and Scott have a beautiful unit in Hale Ona Loa which is just the right size. Beautiful views from the unit and it’s location was centralized so a short drive to anywhere you want to go. We’ll definitely stay again. Thank you for adding to a wonderful Hawai’i

We loved staying at this perfect condo! Great views, well equipped with all the amenities. The storage unit on the deck has all the beach toys- plus owners supply beach towels! We simply enjoyed our time - the hosts Kim and Scott are great. Definitely will return and stay at again!
