A lovely weekend. Warm welcome (and warm cake!), a well equipped cottage and comfortable beds. We walked, we swam, we ate and we had a thoroughly good time. Looking forward to coming again.

Wonderful weekend

Phillipa was a great host, very accommodating and quick to respond to queries. Lovely, comfortable cottage which was clean and very spacious! Not to mention the location which is second to none for the area. We will be staying again, thank you!

Perfect accommodation for multi generation family for wedding .plenty room for us all to get ready, near to reception in village hall (walkable).just perfect

Great location

Spent a long weekend, Friday- Monday, with family in this comfortable,spacious cottage. Beautiful village that was a lot busier than I excepted. The cottage is close to the shops, pubs,restaurants and take away establishments. It is home from home with nearly everything you could possibly need

Happy days in Hathersage

The cottage is very spacious, comfortable and well situated right on the edge of the village, no more than 50yds from multiple restaurants and shops. We enjoyed 3 wonderful days in mid June, hiking and exploring the Peak District. Highly recommend!

Lovely large property in ideal location to visit Hathersage and the surrounding area.

The property was ideal for a large extended family get together. Comfortable bedrooms and shared rooms, with nice private garden to relax in when sunny. It had all the facilities we needed and was clean throughout. Phillipa, the host, was always responsive on messages and gave us a lovely welcome gift of warm bread and cake. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and if in area again will definitely try to stay again. Thank

With friends to celebrate a 60th birthday

A wonderful place to spend time with good friends. Plenty of space, comfortable and a great dining space. Everytbing you need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of places to eat and drink in the village too. Everything clean and warm with great showers too. Well worth staying here.

Superb property in the bustling picturesque village of Hathersage! Great location for visiting and walking around Hathersage, Hope Valley, Bakewell and Castleton. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here!

Perfect location for the centre of Hathersage. Close to all the amenities.

Great house, plenty of room with a log fire. Great outside area and plenty of space. House has plenty of character including squeaky floor boards. On the main road so has some road noise.

It was an annual walking holiday. A group of six women. The location was perfect in every way. Great circular walks straight from the door, a wide variety of places to eat right on the doorstep and an open air pool. The property is well equipped, has a good sized dining table and a spacious lounge for communal gathering. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only the weather could have improved it.

Wonderful for large family with small children

Everything was perfect. The back garden was great for the kids (7 & 10) to run around, plus nice patio set for the grown-ups to relax and watch. There was plenty of room for us all. The living room had lots of chairs,etc. We had a great visit to Hathersage.

Lovely houses

The house is very spacious and well equipped. We had dogs with us and the garden was secure and a great size for them to run around. The house is on a main road so the front bedrooms can be a little noisy, however we were all so tired from the excellent walking it didn’t really matter!

Summer in Topcroft

The house and garden are really great - ideal for small children. Lots of toys and games provided in the house. Hathersage is an idyllic village - especially outdoor swimming pool, but lots of places to eat and fine short walks. Only drawback is supermarket shopping is limited - fantastic fruit and veg and butcher's shop however.
