All the cars parked around the building. Liked that it
Was close th shopping area. Wanted some staff there to be able to ask questions to. Horley is a nice town. Many things very compact in small area. Which is good.

Bed was very poor with old metal springs. Pillows were flat, towels were small, very few amenities provided. It worked for one night, but would not recommend.
Very basic. Room was cold. Glad we were only there 5hrs due to an early morning flight.

Absolutely disgusting - booked, then when I turned up they said wasn’t a room. Asked if I could use the toilet, they said no, I went anyway, no wonder they didn’t want me to. Health and safety would have a wonderful time there. Absolutely gross.
It took us forever to know how to check in. The door instructions are beyond confusing and no one would answer any of the numbers. We were outside for a long time calling lots of numbers and trying to get help. We also had a shared bathroom that was nasty...

I cannot review this property because I booked it via Expedia, received a booking confirmation via email from Expedia but when I turned up at the property they were fully booked and I had no room. This caused me great upset. I have never been disappointed before by Expedia but I was on this occasion.
I wouldn’t recommend this property to anybody, the place it’s self is not clean it’s not worth your money, on arrival there was a free for all parking and everyone was blocked in with other cars as there was no where to park. On entry to the property when I finally made contact the place stunk of cannabis and wee, and it was very loud at 0100hrs, the room was dirty and needed a lot of maintenance doing. We didn’t end up staying the night here as it was inhabitable, we had to drive 5 hours back home after a long flight.

Check in person could not speak English properly. Taxi ordered to airport never turned up and we nearly missed our flight (gates closed as we arrived). No way of charging our phones and so inconvenient nowhere near to get dinner. Went to bed very hungry.
Said on website shuttle bus available but hotel said there wasn't one, cost us £20 each way in a taxi. Websire stated 12pm check in, got there at 1pm no one there. Room was very basic, no lighshade, couldn't get tv to work. Our room door was uneven & didn't feel safe. When we left at 0545 front doir was wide open. Staff didn't speak much English. Was not impressed
WARNING!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!! TOTAL SCAM!!!!
WARNING!!! This is not a review. It is a warning. This place is not a hotel. When you get there, you will note the "we are a virtual hotel" sign, with numbers to call. You call the number and a guy in underwear will come and let you in, and show you to a door that is your room. You will note there is A light bulb hanging from a wire in the ceiling, and another door from another room, but the bed is pushed up against that door so no one can get in. The bath is not in your room, but you will be told it is "yours" even though it is (1) available to all, (2) has used towels on the floor, and (3) has no lock. Doesn't matter, it's filthy, and someone has recently used the toilet. No way would we have been able to sleep. It was creepy, filthy, NOT what was advertised, and ick on ALL LEVELS. We left. We tried calling the numbers on the door, but they wouldn't answer. We called Hotels.com, and they refused to help. This is just a scam. It is NOT a hotel. It is, at best, an old boarding house, and they are calling it a "hotel," until they get shut down. IF YOU DIE HERE, that's on you. (Also, I tried to add the photos, but Hotels.com won't let them post. I'll add pics to the other reviews I post on Google, etc.)
WORST LODGE AROUND GATWICK. Don’t even think about booking this property of unsafe rooms.
This property is the worst ever. From having abandoned cars parked within the property to having a degrading wall not to mention stinking toilet, to transparent curtains and having a receptionist that came down with shorts like it’s his home. We were first offered a room that wasn’t even cleaned, later switched to another one which look clean but was far worse than the earlier.
The pillows and bedsheets were so dirty they were itching us. The toilet is an eyesore, W/C water not running, to the fact that after brushing, the waste goes into the toilet bowl. THAT’S ONE OF THE WORST NIGHTMARE one can ever imagined
The bath shower??? So tiny it couldn’t fit a man of medium built size like me, I had to leave the door opened.
The bed room was smelly, choking and totally unsafe.
Also, the property is lying about the uploaded pictures, you need to see the assumed white towels and bedsheets to the pillow cases they are using.
Not so good at all. They definitely need to be sanctioned because that place isn’t a safe habitat.
Also if you have a box to check in, be prepared to carry your box as they have those sharp stones laid outside that presents normal walking steps without you walking like a zombie.
I only wish I can write more but this is definitely the worst lodge around Gatwick, don’t book if you’re traveling, you will have nightmares ahead of your trip and you don’t want that at all
