The Long House is a unique mix of 16th- and early 18th-century architecture that makes it a great place for family gatherings or special events. The house has 10 well-designed bedrooms and 7 well-equipped bathrooms, so it can accommodate up to 21 guests with additional if you use the sofa beds. The bedroom layout includes a flexible mix of king-size doubles, twins, and triples, ensuring that different group sizes can stay comfortably.
The ground floor has been carefully designed. The big kitchen flows naturally into a dining room in a conservatory that can seat 22 people. A few rooms have open fires, perfect for getting together at night. Every room has been designed to keep its original style while adding modern comforts.
Five acres of mature gardens around the property provide different places to enjoy the outdoors. The swimming pool is great for seasonal fun, and the tennis court and large gardens are great for outdoor activities. The property is great for groups of people of all ages; it even has a lovely Wendy house for young children, a swing. The gates of one of the walled gardens can be shut (with padlocks provided) to create a safe space with no open water for children or somewhere dogs can run around.
