「This was the perfect place for our family getaway. Perched on the top of a mountain with an amazing view. The place was clean and comfortable and felt like a home away from home. The whole experience was smooth and top notch. Everyone was so happy and impressed with this spot. It was so close to Asheville, we were able to go into the city for some of the time and explore. 「I stayed here with my 4 kids. The size of the home fit us just fine. The downfalls were the ladybugs and the little amount of towels available. Also, the beds were a bit uncomfortable, especially the king in the basement level. Upon arriving, we were told we could enter earlier (about an hour early) than the check in time, which was great! We were isolated (saw a bear cross our driveway on last day!) yet convenient to grocery store, Gatlinburg and Great Smoky Mountain. Main level bedroom and bath were preferred over the upper level bed area, which sacrificed a closet and/or dresser for a large bathtub - not a choice I would have made, but certainly was not a deal breaker. 「We had the best weekend staying in cabin 3. The cabin was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. There were plenty of towels and washcloths for the family. The beds were comfortable and blankets warm. The cabin is so super cute and had the best rustic charm, it was perfect. The creek right outside the back door was the best and so peaceful. Directions were greatly appreciated since I started feeling like I was on someone's personal graveled driveway. Songbird of this Mountain is the neighbor's rooster, who takes his job very seriously. 「I started off alone in the one of the other cabins and my husband joined me and we extended our stay to the Raven's Nest and it was just fantastic! It was chilly by the time we made it to the second cabin and the fire place was a great addition. It ran out if propane at some point which was ok because it did the job beforehand and then without asking maintenance came around while we were out exploring the day away and refilled it! 「This was a fantastic girls weekend with my girls. A gorgeous cabin right on the river with an amazing deck. We saw eagles, ospreys and an otter swimming by while having coffee on the deck. We also relaxed at the near by hot spring spas for an hour got dinner at one of the local taverns. Tried our hands at fishing while relaxing near the water. Amazing place to relax and unwind.
