We have stayed at Sara’s Inn 3 separate times and each time has been nothing but amazing. We visit Houston about 2x a year and Sara’s Inn is our go to. Rooms are always clean and it’s always quiet. The parking isn’t too bad, if you have a bigger vehicle it could be a hassle to get out of the drive way but there’s plenty of street parking available.

The property is well maintained and is a lovely place to stay at, however, when I booked it, I thought it was more like a a Bed and Breakfast, but it turned out more like an Airbnb because the day we checked in, there was no staff at the property and the second day as well, we did not see any staff. It is a quit and well situated property and the best part is that it has convenient parking on property.

Property was clean and tidy, in great location, restaurants and bars close by. Hotel has no amenities unless you deem a coffee machine an amenity? Room was a little dark but apart from that, we had a very comfortable and peaceful stay.

The room ambience was warm and inviting. I enjoyed stained glass windows in the Floral Suite. Being a solo traveler, I wish there had been a more secure lock on the door. I would recommend to others.

I was excited to bring my partner here for a staycation because he enjoys the Heights neighborhood and we other plans in and around the area. Unfortunately, there is conflicting information about check in time (website says after 2 on Saturday/Sunday), text from property says 3. There was a local event happening at the property, so no onsite parking available until after 8pm. The host was neither welcoming nor rude, she just seemed bothered we were checking in. The water temperature in the bathroom was tepid. For a bed and breakfast, only coffee/tea was offered.
