「The property overall is beautiful and the staff were all very helpful. Unfortunately our room did not have a mini refrigerator which is unusual for a 4 star hotel and when I booked I thought all the rooms came with one but I was informed not ours, which was very inconvenient. The pool area is lovely but there are no pool towels readily available and they frequently run out when they were requested. 「For us to be able to stay in such an old family chateau is pretty unique. There are certain things that we have to accept, like no air conditioning and tea making facilities in our room but it had WiFi. The two major plus points were still the magnificence of the house itself and setting, and the two hosts. Two lovely people who share their love of where they live.」
