"Easy access and ample parking spaces. Don’t think there was a lift, but only one and a bit flights of stairs to negotiate to first floor. Staff I encountered were all friendly and helpful. Room was quite spacious and bed was comfortable, but en suite would benefit from a bit of a tidy up, overall it was fine. The breakfast was basic cereal, toast and croissants, with tea, coffee, and orange juice available, but was a good start to the day, and was included in room rate."

The interior is well kept and a lott of original features like heavy doors and windows are still in place. The bedrooms (dorms) are simply decorated ,clean and comfortable. Staff in all areas are helpful, very polite, friendly and informative. Thoroughly nice stay."

Nice touches like tissues in the room, water in the fridge Main pub building had plenty of comfortable seating and outdoors tables etc. Climbing frame looked good. "It was such fun being in a light and airy living space - especially when the weather was warm and sunny and we could open the big doors onto the patio and sit in the small secluded garden - we managed to eat out all our meals out here for several days and enjoyed using our bird song identification app as we listened to a multitude of birds in the surrounding area. The village has a beautiful common and some nice walks to explore too. A relaxed stay all round."
