The Checkered Daisy Cottage: Colorful and Fun

"Host has taken a lot of care to upgrade this older property. The apartment is in the basement and as noted the stairs are very steep. There is also a step to the bathroom and the bathroom is located away from the bedroom that may be an issue for some.The lighting in the kitchen was not good but we thought the overhead light may have a burnt out bulb. Stove and washer needed some cleaning but that was being taken care of when we had to return to the property for a left item. The rooms are colorful and comfortable. For a last minute stay to get out of the rain it was comfortable and conveniently located to grocery stores and shops."

"This is probably what you’d expect from a roadside motel in central Utah. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean enough. It’s definitely older and you can tell (leaky faucets, loud HVAC, etc). As other reviewers have said, there is an odor - you adjust to it, but it’s not great. You can also hear both the guests and the road; we ended up sleeping with earplugs (we always bring them on vacation anyway). Generally, it’s a decent option for a short stay if you just need something inexpensive and clean."

"It was an easy place to stay, checkin process was perfect. We liked the location compared to the event space we had to go to. There was some stuff laying around the house but it wasn't a big deal. I would stay here again!"

"Kristine's home was so nicely decorated and well appointed, with very comfortable beds and linens. Check-in was seamless and worked exactly as explained in the communication we received. The home also has air conditioning, which is rare for the places we've stayed in the area before. The kitchen is well stocked and all the instructions are clear, with very little required of guests on check-out. We would love to stay at the Covered Bridge home again the next time we're in Emery County!"
