Adam, There are two distinct types of Hosting Accommodations: 1. Guest will Book a Private Bedroom, with a shared common area with other guest & the Host. These are similar to the way Motels & Hotels are set up to receive and Host travelers. This makes up the vast majority of Hosting Accommodations & typically are set up within privately ownered homes, providing a more affordable rate, typically $40-$80 per day (for a single private bedroom), than is offered by Motel/Host operators, who offer simular Private Bedrooms (only) with also a shared common area for dining, socializing, etc. My Hosting Description (as stated here), Is Seen By All Guest, Before They Decide to Book: "The accommodations you're booking is priced for a Private Bedroom with Mini-Fridge, Private Bath, Yard Area & Front Balcony Access; A Kitchenette In The Common Area" 2. The 2nd type of hosting is where guest pay for the entire Home at a much higher per day rate, ranging anywhere between $150 - $300 per day, in this highly popular area. Generally, It's up to the guest to connect with the Host, if in any doubt, as to which type of Hosting arrangement they require.
