We had a lovely stay here, introducing our little boy to camping for the first time. It was a lovely and cosy pod for the 3 of us and it was amazing being right next to the lions. We loved toasting marshmallows by the fire pits & all the on site restaurants were lovely and delicious food. We had a great time.

Lovely stay with very friendly and polite staff - very clean and comfortable surroundings. Only caveat is that it’s not the most baby friendly if you are travelling alone with a baby & the Accomadation I had did not have a fridge.

A fantastic get away from London. So relaxing. Staff so friendly. Everything was so easy and well organised. Walking in the evening was so peaceful. One thing, I forgot a hygiene item but there is no shop for essentials. But of course staff supplied item free of charge.

1 night family stay
Our stay included access to the park for 2 days with the safari excursion. Our pod was ready at the time stated and was clean and tidy. They provided all bedding, towels and a bag of marshmallows for the fire pit. All staff were friendly and very helpful.
We ate at Babydoll’s in the evening and food was delicious… only down side is snack food and drinks in the cafes are quite expensive, I don’t think they need to be that pricey. Overall we loved it and would love to go back.

These pods were super cute and very clean. The heating in it was fantastic and kept us warm on a very cold and wet night. We were provided with the and coffee making facilities and a bag of marshmallows to toast by the fire. Kids really enjoyed it. We could also hear and sometimes see the lions nearby.

Nice, but wouldn’t go again
Lovely place. I didn’t realise when I booked that the room is not en-suite. Which was fine except only two toilets for 12-14 pods.
The pods are nice and very well kept, but very small for mote than 2 people. Family with little kids ok, but we were groups of adults and teenagers so not idea.
Over all place is very nice, but probably not worth the cost.

The stay is brilliant - waking up with the lions roaring and even going throughout the night (which did scare our 2yo!) was amazing. we would definitely upgrade to a lodge where you get a golf buggy next time as the zoo is difficult to get round on foot as it’s so hilly. Also the sofa bed which is the double bed (alongside 2 singles) is unbelievably uncomfortable - I’m talking the worst nights sleep on a rock hard surface! The pod is also tiny so it is a tight squeeze and the sofa bed once downtotally blocks the front door
We stayed in a Pinewood pod, and while the size and amenities were as expected, we were particularly disappointed by the cleanliness.
There were visible signs of damp and black mold on the wood and various areas of the pod. Whether these had been cleaned or not, they were still noticeable and concerning.
The real issue, however, came when we were getting ready for bed. After putting our son to sleep, we prepared our own beds and were shocked by what we found. The quilt and pillow for the futon were dirty, with visible mud marks from shoes. While I tried to be open-minded about this, what we discovered next was unacceptable. When pulling back the sheets on the other single bed, we found a pair of little girl’s pajama trousers—clear evidence that the bed had been made up but not cleaned.
The safari experience itself is a real treat, but Port Lympne is slipping when it comes to its overnight accommodations. Given the price paid for a single night, the lack of attention to cleanliness was both surprising and disappointing.
