Peronal touch!

Stayed again and loved it. An owner who is truly happy for you to be staying in her hotel. Cup of tea on arrival....where else would you get service like that? Nice rooms with a mix of modern and retro. Will stay again next year....lovely place owned by a lovely lady.

Fantastic BnB

Lovely BnB, we really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful house, our room was lovely all individual decorated, nice touches like bath robes, bottles of water and chocolate biscuits in the room. Really tasty breakfast, sausages were really good. The best part is Helen the owner she really friendly and helpful, one night while we said I was feeling unwell so didn't want to go out for dinner so she let us use her personal kitchen to make some food, really went out of her way to accommodate us. Will defiantly stay again.

Little Gem in Ilfracombe

Little gem of a place with lovely rooms and old fashioned customer focused service from the lovely lady owner. High quality furnishings and excellent fresh breakfast. Sky Sports too! what a bonus! I will be staying here again when im next in the area.

Beautiful house and excellent service.

First day of our honeymoon and although Ilfracombe was pretty quiet as expected (being a Monday), we had a fantastic time. Westwood is a beautiful grand old house and the service and breakfast were excellent.

Perfect

Fantastic short break and Helen is a great host. Delicious breakfasts and lovely, clean rooms. Cannot fault anything. It's a nice little walk to town but not too far. Would highly recommend for couples.

The Westwood simply brilliant

Enjoyed a three night stay at the Westwood simply fantastic. Best ever great room with beautiful ensuite. Wonderful breakfast and a choice of menu with more than you can eat. Very very friendly and helpful staff nothing too much trouble. Would return again without question.

Passion meets design

Very polite and kind owner. The Villa is contemporary furnished with body and soul and we felt very well. Enough space even in a smaller room and lots of space in the bathroom. They had innerspring mattress and I'd like to have in this price range a better quality, but we had a good sleep. Good quality of continental and english breakfast. Possibility to take a bath in another room. It was fully booked but quiet. 10 minutes walking distance to the harbour. Good restaurant recommendation from the owner, offers to make a reservation. Great Service. Parking in front of the Villa or on street side.

The perfect host!

Just back from 3 nights in Ilfracombe for a family wedding and couldn't be happier with our choice of accommodation. Helen is such a wonderful host. Extremely generous with recommendations and advice on where to go/eat/drink, and responding to every request with a smile - even getting a fan delivered from down the road for us. We were made to feel so welcome, we could happily have stayed for another week. The room was more than comfortable & the full English is one of the best we'd had in ages. Very well-located for Tunnels Beaches & just a short walk into town, and down to the harbour. Well worthy of 5 stars & can't recommend highly enough!

Lovely contemporary B&B near to the coastal path

The owner was very helpful on email when we arranged to arrive a little early, even when we had to change timings a little due to traffic, and met us outside the B&B when we arrived. She was super friendly and helped us with our bags. The room was spacious, very light and nicely decorated with a small but perfectly functional shower room en suite and use of a full bathroom across the hall. The owner made us tea and made time for a chat about the B&B and the local area. We only stayed one night but had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was great and very quickly arrived. Highly recommended, we'd love to go back!

One of the best B and Bs in the West Country. Contemporary, clean, spacious and professional and not a bit of chintz in sight. Great breakfast. Highly recommended.

Beautifully decorated, classy boutique B&B!

Had a lovely, relaxing stay in this very beautiful B&B. Decor was stunning in this lovely old house. The host was just lovely, got the service just right! Breakfast was beautiful, fresh and with eggs from their own chickens! I couldn't fault the place, just lovely. The only challenge is the very steep and narrow driveway, with a nasty bend in the middle. You need to drive very carefully! Don't let this put you off staying here though...if you don't want to drive up you can park on the road at the bottom and walk up.

Well presented accommodation with beautiful views

A warm welcome from Helen when we arrived at the Westwood. Accommodation felt spacious with a welcome tray and bottled water . Walks straight from back garden onto a beautiful and perfect coastline . A peaceful feeling helped relax as our stay was for 3 nights. Helen is a fab cook creating a varied menu to which there was no disappointment!

lovely victorian villa

We were greeted by Helen, the proprietor, who showed us around the guest house, and to our room. What impressed us was the attention to detail everywhere; the retro styling and cleanliness. Great bathroom facilities, a comfortable bed, and a super breakfast, cooked exactly as requested!

Lovely hotel, lovely people. Room very clean and tidy. Decorated really nice. Great location close to the sea front but also really quiet. Food excellent. Highly recommend this hotel. Worth every penny.
