The apartment is located in a wonderful area, where you can enjoy total relaxation.
The house is located near the center of Porto Maurizio, where you can find all kinds of shops, cinemas, bars, restaurants and entertainment venues. The apartment, which I renovated with quality materials in 2004, is located in a building that had been redesigned and rebuilt by Renzo Piano about thirty years ago, and is located directly on the main square of Parasio, the medieval old town, very picturesque and quaint.
The house is absolutely suitable for families with children as there is a room to themselves with two single beds.
The nearest beaches are about 500 meters away, reachable by scenic alleys and stairs from the square where the apartment is located, on top of a small hill.
If you do not want to face the climb on foot, the area is served by a local line of electric buses, the circular line B1, which every half hour free to link all the various beaches of Porto Maurizio with the Parasio square.
The house is located within the ZTL Parasio (Limited Traffic Zone), which means that you can enter and leave the same with the car every day only during the hours between 08:00 am and 10:00 am, from 03:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 1:00 am.
If you come by car, it is necessary that you communicate to me the license plate number so that I can inform the local police: this will allow you to load and unload luggage at any time, limited to the days of arrival and departure. A few steps away there is ample parking.
Taxis can enter and exit the ZTL at any time.
Just below the house there is a typical Ligurian restaurant (fish specialties), Osteria dell'Olio Grosso, where you can enjoy a pleasant dinner in the open air.
The start of the new cycle path is 1 km away from the house (Prino area): you can cycle for about 30 km to Bordighera enjoying breathtaking views and stopping at one of the beautiful beaches along the way.

Excellent apartment in super location. Simona is a very attentive and responsive host; any issues are quickly resolved. The apartment itself is light and spacious. Good sized well equipped kitchen on ground floor, open plan lounge plus bathroom and bedrooms on next floor and terrace then up small spiral staircase. The AC works well but the ambient temperature in the flat rarely gets above 23C . Porto Maurizio is at the top of the hill and there is a good view of the sea from the terrace. Café for breakfast and several restaurants and pizzeria within 500 yards plus shopping street another 200 yards down from the Duomo. On the waterfront at Imperia there are plenty of bars gelateria restaurants at reasonable prices. I would happily recommend Simona’s apartment and the area in general .

Simona ist eine sehr nette Vermieterin.Sie hat meiner Mutter und mir ein tolles ankommen beschert und ist sehr hilfsbereit! Einzige kleine Kritik,wir wussten nicht das es zum Appartement und im Appartement relativ steile Treppen gibt. Und das nach einem Fußmarsch bergauf, ist nichts für Menschen die nicht gut zu Fuß sind! Ansonsten ist es sauber, alles ist da, die Terrasse hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Die charmanten Gassen , die kleinen Cafés Restaurants, Strand, Hafen alles “Fuß läufig” !

Die Wohnung liegt ganz oben im alten Ortskern, ganz oben im Haus. Jede einzelne Stufe, die man hochsteigen muss, ist es wert. Sie ist gemütlich möbliert, in der Küche ist alles, was man so braucht. Ganz besonders schön ist die Dachterrasse. Von dort kann man über den Ort schauen, man sieht sogar noch einen Zipfel vom Hafen. Begrünte Berge mit kleinen Dörfern umranden das Ganze. Zur anderen Seite schaut man hinaus auf das Meer. Einfach nur schön und entspannend. Sehr erwähnenswert ist auch das Restaurant direkt vor der Haustür. Preis-Leistung ist top und das Essen (nur Fisch) superlecker, der Wein genauso. Nochmal herzlichen Dank an Simona, die es uns empfohlen hat, und natürlich auch für den freundlichen Empfang und die gute Kommunikation während der Anreise.

Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und schön geschnitten. Tolle Dachterrasse mit Meerblick. Der Weg zum Strand über einige Treppen, daher sollte man wirklich gut zu Fuß sein. Die Strandnähe täuscht daher etwas. Sonst alles wunderbar, leckere Restaurants und tolles Flair am Hafen.

Die Wohnung war sehr schön und gepflegt, allerdings mit vielen Treppen. Der Blick von der Terrasse entsprach nicht ganz der Fotos, man konnte das Meer jedoch sehen. Uns hat die Umgebung sehr gut gefallen. Eine kleine Altstadt im Herzen Liguriens.

We enjoyed our ten days in Simona‘s lovely flat very much. The appartment is located at the top of a hill in Porto Maurizio‘s picturesque old-town quarter. Everything you need is nearby and one can even see the sea from the great rooftop terrace.

Die Wohnung liegt hoch über dem Meer, der Weg ist recht anstrengend mit vielen Stufen. Ruhig Lage, aber um 07.00 Uhr wird man von den Kirchenglocken geweckt. Die Schlafzimmer haben wenige Tageslicht.

Simona, die Vermieterin, war sehr freundlich und hat uns auch schon vor der eigentlich vereinbarten Übergabezeitpunkt die Wohnung überlassen. Die Maisonette-Wohnung ist sehr sauber und schön geschnitten. Das Meer ist sehr schön und zu Fuß mit einigen Treppen in 10min erreichbar. Nahe zur Wohnung gab es mehrere Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.

Simona’s place is nice and in the beautiful neighborhood of Porto Mauricio. Just know that you need good legs as the apartment if on the highest street of Porto Mauricio and the apt itself is on the 3 levels. Simona was friendly and an easy to reach host.

Simona ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Ihr sehr schön eingerichtet Wohnung, mit einer Klasse Aussicht auf die Altstadt und auf das Meer, lässt keine Wünsche offen!
