"Very nice and quiet resort directly on the beach and beautiful views. Only a few minutes from the train station. Nice public bath with indoor and outdoor areas, sauna and one with bubbles. Several restaurants on site, but booking required and we only ate there once. It’s an isolated small village with almost no other restaurants (one nice ramen place, but not open every day) close, but train to other places only takes a few minutes. During the day hotel also provides shuttle to Kawazu or the more active can walk the 20 minutes. Overall would recommend this place!"

"Pool was under repair and not useable; we were not aware of that prior to arriving. Was not noted on booking etc. We might have held off travelling to this location or booked at another time when pool was operational had we known"

"It’s a great place for getaway and relax in the authentic Japanese style. Simple amenities but everything works. Perfect place to give yourself a moment to rest and relax. The little town is very charming, slow pace and atmospheric."

"I stayed here to relax and chill at the onsen, be close enough to the coast, and be able to use the kitchen. And because there was shuttle service to and from the train station that you can access with reservation. The room felt like a sanctuary, with view of the mountain and water, space to meditate and do yoga at the tatami mat, and take a nice bath a the tub with an incredible view. Bed was medium firm which was a relief and their disposable drip coffee was delightfully top notch. Enjoyed the warm indoor pool but most of all, relaxing at their outdoor hot spring with the sound of nature. Showers and change room were spacious and nice. Staff was attentive and responsive to my inquiries. The hotel is walking distance to restaurants, convenience stores and bus stops. Hotel does need some updating at the main area especially the carpeted stairs but I would still come back here in a heartbeat."

"Spa was fantastic. Views are incredible. Staff was super helpful and spoke enough English for us to communicate. Would like to see the carpets in the main areas cleaned, there were stains that were off putting. Seemed like there were more things to do but were closed during my visit such as the indoor pool and karaoke rooms. "
