The best thing about our stay was the peace and quiet.

The best thing about our stay was the peace and quiet. The location is gorgeous - peaceful and picturesque. We were surrounded by highland cows and deer and there is even a little private lake on site that we took a rowing boat out on one day. There is a stream running through the park, a playground and a little bar/restaurant. The owners were really friendly and gave us great suggestions for walks in the area. It is also close (short drive) to some lovely beaches.The chalet itself was very clean and warm with a well equipped kitchen, quite comfy beds and excellent water pressure (ie a strong shower). My only criticism would be that the couch wasn’t very comfy and could have done with an update. Overall we had a great stay and would highly recommend!
