Clava Cottage City Centre near the River Ness

Beautiful and fully equipped city centre 3 double bedroom mid terraced cottage with beautiful back garden. My place is a 30 second walk to the Waterfront Bar/Restaurant and supermarket. It is also a 5 minute beautiful walk along the River Ness into the city centre. It has a beautiful back garden where you can enjoy a BBQ whilst seated at the garden furniture. The cottage comes with a 55inch 4K Smart TV with wood burner, fast Wi-Fi. Private hire tours available to Skye, Glencoe, Outlander or to distillery's or to truly beautiful Glens with mountain and river views, herds of deer/stags, wild mountain goats and golden eagles. Ideal for large golf or cycling groups with 3 cottages next to each other. The other property numbers are Rose Cottage 10193008 and Riverside Cottage 6479577. Tours transits etc in 9 seater people carrier.

Day tours to Skye, Glencoe, Glenfinnan or Outlander tour, distillery tours or heritage tours and your own bespoke tours on request.

Golf transits to courses available. Take the strain away and enjoy some beers on the course and in the bar afterwards.

Airport pick up from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness on request.

Need to have kleenex- more garbage cans- towels were left on bed- they appeared to be throw blankets- neither of 2 clocks worked-washer was nice but due to constant rain- unable to dry any items washed- but nice cottage!

Excellent location

The accommodation was comfortable and communicating with the property was easy and quick. For the most part, it was as stated in the listing. It's a bit old and worn in places, but is certainly liveable. The location is really great! Close to the wobbly bridge for walks into "downtown" and very handy to the Aldi -- literally up the street! We enjoyed our stay very much

Great location and space!

Clava Cottage couldn't be better located! A quick walk to the bridge and you are in the heart of the city and great food. My husband and I, along with our three children (14,12,9) enjoyed our stay in Inverness (3 nights). The flat was a great home base after exploring all day. Great family room for us all to eat together and enjoy a movie! Two bathrooms and ample space for the kids (they stayed upstairs). It was nothing fancy but just what we needed. Gregor left some essentials in the kitchen which was very thoughtful and helpful!!

Zentral gelegenes Haus mit Garten

Gregor hat uns herzlich begrüßt und hatte sogar schon für's Frühstück eingekauft! Von Inverness aus gibt es viel zu erkunden, in die Stadt kann man bequem zu Fuß gehen, auch sehr schön am Fluss spazierengehen. Gregor war jederzeit zu erreichen und hat uns auch viele Tipps gegeben für schöne Ausflüge. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Lovely stay for families close to city center

We were traveling with a friend and our 18 month old. The property was even lovelier than the listing. There were two cribs and two cribs and two high chairs, as well as black out curtains in the rooms which meant our baby slept great. He loved running around the back yard, and we appreciated the outdoor space. The kitchen was very well appointed, and Gregor even left us with some basics so we could feed ourselves breakfast after a late arrival. It was a lovely walk along the river to get to the city center. We were so pleasantly impressed with our stay.

What a great place to stay in Inverness! It’s a clean, well appointed, comfortable location, just a ten minute walk to the city center. Our host, Gregor, was very helpful and welcoming. He had lots of tips for things to do and places to eat. This was our first trip to Scotland, and it couldn’t have been better. We highly recommend Clava Cottage!

A homey highland cottage

Clava Cottage was cozy and homey, or homely as they say in the UK. Gregor was an excellent host, communicative and responsive. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable. The wood burning stove in the living room was especially nice given the unseasonably cool weather during our stay. The location was walkable to city centre and an Aldi, a Tesco, and a Lidl. The cottage was an excellent home base for our highland adventures. We had a lovely stay.

Amazing location, godsend of a host

Walking distance to town center, pubs, public transit and more. Clean home with plenty of space, nice beds, fully stocked kitchen and living room. Plenty of heat and space. Surprise breakfast items and coffee were used and enjoyed! The host is above and beyond, salt of the earth, helpful, funny, knowledgeable, active, and a good person. Hes the kind of guy who feels like a family member in a moment! Beyond hosting, as a guide and driver his services are great and very informative, competitive, and tailored to your needs. Lovely Wee Cottage

The house was in a great location for walking to restaurants and shopping. We did two bus tours and could walk to the pick up points in 12 minutes. The host - Gregor was very nice. I’d recommend this property.

The biggest charm of Clava Cottage is Gregor. Do not book expecting 5-star finishes or amenities; the house is clean and Gregor left us some food and is very responsive. He also took us e-bike riding in an absolutely gorgeous place, which was such a highlight, and he toured us around the highlands because we did not feel comfortable driving on the other side of the road. He is kind and truly wanted us to have a great time. He delivered our luggage to the train station and made sure we had an easy final day after we checked out. Renting from Gregor is a shortcut to learning about Scotland too. He is quite impassioned about Scottish history. Thanks Gregor. We will remember our time with you fondly.

Wonderful Stay

We had a lovely stay here. Gregor went above and beyond answering all of our questions. His knowledge of the area helped us so much. The location is on a fairly quiet street, just a short walk from the center of town. Grocery store nearby helped us stock up on some essentials in addition to the food Gregor had left for us. This was an excellent location for some day trips. We will absolutely stay again someday!

Inverness April Visit

Gregor is an outstanding host. Our luggage was delayed because our previous flight was delayed. We were pretty tired from our journey. We are also from Canada, so driving on the left side is new . I wasn’t looking forward to driving to the airport after dark.Gregor went to the airport to pick our luggage up from a later flight. This allowed us to relax and enjoy Inverness without an extra trip out to the airport.

Perfect location by the river ness..grocery store was half block away. Gregor was very responsive to all our needs. We enjoyed having a bathroom and bedroom on main level. If you’re thinking of staying in Inverness this is absolutely a perfect spot and host! We arrived at the property extremely late and our host was patient and waiting for our arrival. 5 star stay!

Brilliant stay! An absolute gem found and recommend everyone to stay. Close to amenities, a quick stroll along the river to the city centre and a wee pub around the corner for a quick pint. The cottage was in great condition with a surprising amount of space. Huge back garden and Gregor was one of the most helpful hots we have ever had. If you want some gorgeous places to visit with a short drive from Inverness then Gregor is your man - I’ll be back :)
