Rowing boat. Pre-arrival grocery service. Airport transfer (extra). 4x4 car recommended in winter. Parking at the house. Shop 1 km, grocery 1 km, supermarket 40 km, restaurant 2 km, café 2 km, bus stop "Invermoriston" 1 km, railway station "Inverness" 40 km. Golf course (18 hole) 18 km, riding stable 20 km. Nearby attractions: Urquhart Castle 20 km, Loch Ness Monster exhibition 20 km, Glen Affric 40 km, Invermoriston Waterfalls 1 km. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Loch Ness 20 m. Please note: car recommended. The complex has another 2 houses for rent.

Beautiful surroundings and views, house pleasant and has everything you need. Kitchen a nice size and modern. Uncomfortable double bed and for the price (over 300 a night) I would expect more comfort. Bathroom modern, no bath, but great shower. A nice space but cleaners left food in cupboards and grease. No dustpan and brush. Dishwasher needed salt/rinse aid. Big cobwebs and insects hanging from them - lots of spiders but there are lots of midges and spiders don't bother me. A dryer would be a good idea.Although nice surroundings/grounds we didn't make much use of because of midges - we were covered in bites unfortunately, but of course, that can't be helped in August. There's not much in Invermoriston itself although a sweet play area for kids and cool waterfall. The local pub was shut but can drive to fort Augustus in about 15 mins.
