Having spent my summers on the Bras d’Or lake as a child I knew what I was getting with regards to lake (it is clear, warmer than the ocean, salt water —perfect to me!), but this was my first stay at Lakeside Luxury. 「Looking for peace and quiet with an amazing view; this is the place to go. The wooden cottage is located up a hill with an amazing view on Lake Bras d’Or. The pictures are 100% accurate. Only thing to keep in mind, the drive up the hill is quite steep and the gravel road is quite bumpy. If you don’t drive a 4x4 or an awd vehicle, make sure your car is not too close to the ground or you could scrape and cause damage.」

「This cottage is very cute and authentic and totally private. It is secluded and has such a beautiful viewsIt is up a relatively steep hill, but very accessible by car. The interior is low tech, but that’s not what we were looking for.It is still cozy and practical.The kitchen is fully furnished. The washer dryer are perfect, as well as the bbq (brand new and super clean).Ursula was a very friendly host and we are grateful for this experience!」
