「We had a lovely visit to Arcadia Valley. I brought a friend who had never been there and we enjoyed all of the sites and visited with family. The cabin was perfect. We counted 29 species of birds from the front porch and watched the lightning beetles in the field across the road. It was magical. 」

「Traveling with a large family is never easy, but this rental made us feel at home. Full kitchen for cooking, dining area to seat everyone, huge tv, great wi-fi, washer and dryer, fun backyard to make s’mores, and beds upstairs to sleep all our kids. We would stay here again!」

「What a great cabin to come back to each afternoon after fun-filled days at Elephant Rocks, Johnson Shut-Ins, Shepherd Mountain and Taum Sauk - all within a 35 minute drive. Clean, comfortable, and unexpectedly spacious for our family of four and four-legged friends. But if you don't find it big enough, just step outside to some wonderfully big views on the deck or at the fire pit. We've stayed in quite a few rentals, and this one was definitely at the top of the list. 」

「We used this cabin as a central location for a week of exploring the local state parks. It was a great cabin with all the necessary amenities the beds are incredibly comfortable and we were able to comfortably fit our group of four. Do note that it can feel a bit crowded especially if you have a lot of bags. However we were more than happy staying here!」

「We loved everything about our stay at Pickle and Perk - the cozy and inviting atmosphere both indoor and out, the thoughtful accommodations, delicious coffee and fresh farm-to-table style homemade breakfast downstairs, and of course, the wonderful hosts. Hands down, the best rental we have ever stayed in. Stephanie and Dave have done an amazing job with this place and have gone out of their way to make it a special and unforgettable experience. 「The location of the cabin was fantastic! It’s close to some great hiking and the privacy, peace, and quiet were phenomenal. It was so nice sitting on the deck, listening to the birds—very zen. Also loved watching the turtles on the property; had to herd them off the road on our return to the cabin one time, lol! Really good restaurants nearby where you definitely get a great meal for your dollar. The cabin was clean and the grill was the best one we’ve ever used at any house we’ve rented—clean...

「Home was comfortable and had everything we needed. We did not use the upstairs since we had all we needed on the main level. Music festival at the courthouse 1 block away. House is on corner of the main street but was quiet inside. The back door you step down to get outside of door. A little awkward but nothing that would stop me from renting this home.
