"This is not worth the cost. It is basically a farm stay surrounded by introduced trees with the faint smell of cow dung and the sound of gun shots. It may be near beautiful native trees of the Otways, but they are not accessible. The property map provided is out of date and access to the waterfalls hasn't been maintained. "This property is in one of the best locations in Victoria. Filled with wildlife, felt so remote and yet only 15mins to Apollo bay. So relaxing and peaceful. The outside areas of the property itself was a bit rundown with the balcony in need of some repairs. There were a number of nails sticking out and some of the boards were rotted. The interior was perfect, with everything that you need. For those with dogs- I’m not sure this should be listed as pet friendly accommodation as dogs are not...

"The cottage is clean and have a positive atmosphere. Surrounding nature makes the place very relaxing. We loved the fire place. Carport next to the cottage was so helpful. The direction of getting to the cottage was a bit confusing. One of the reasons we booked this cottage was having a spa but we couldn't use the Spa as it was so cold and by the time it got to the right temperature it was bed time. We were disappointed as we expected a ready to use spa like other places. "

"Some sort of barrier/gate system on the entrance from the back street to make the cars safer. At present, anybody can simply walk in and take a car or possessions from any room. Otherwise, the motel room and dining options within close proximity are simply great. We have stayed at Mid City Motel before.."

"The cabin is cosy and very comfortable with gorgeous views and a very comfy bed. You'll see chickens and goats just outside too. Our dogs loved the yard and the comfy warm spot in front of the fire . It's also an easy drive to Forrest and Apollo Bay. We'll definitely be back. Big thanks to Cassandra and Ben for you help too "

"Fantastic winter break. Fire for the parents whilst drinking wine and doing a jigsaw and the kids watched some Netflix or did drawing, all between some nice walks and adventures out and about. Lovely garden, if a bit cold and wet to truely enjoy. Forrest also looks like a nice place to bring a mountain bike (when less wet or cold). Wish I had the skills to enjoy the resident piano.Hosts provided excellent communication and a lovely well appointed house."

"A clean and very comfortable home with excellent facilities. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with an excellent coffee machine which was a welcomed bonus. The fireplace was beautiful and worked well with plenty of firewoodThe outlook had wonderful views of green paddocks and the ocean. We would stay again."
