We gathered together for a post Christmas family weekend and it was the perfect spot! The house was clean, spacious, and welcoming. The proximity to the beach was great, as was the dock access. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed this quaint older home with very comfortable beds and couches. The kitchen was original with updated appliances. The location near Breach Inlet was great. We could walk on the IOP beach or cross the bridge and walk on Sullivan’s Island. The dock on the creek was amazing with beautiful sunset views. The yard for the dog was very convenient. I think the number of outdoor spaces with comfortable furniture was definitely a plus as was the well appointed separate in-law suite.

Enjoyed our first trip to Isle of Palms! House was plenty of room for our group of 6 adults and 3 children (4,2,2). Already discussing our next trip to the area.

Quiet Location that has wonderful character with the age of the home. It worked perfect for my stay and the dock was a huge bonus for the stay. Loved it and will look to rent again. Great experience

Check in process was a breeze, property very clean and amply supplied, fantastic location and dock was amazing! Only complaint was there is not way to access fence in yard from the house so we had to constantly leash dogs and there were multiple pickets missing from fence where dogs could escape along side very busy road. There was no break with managing dogs...I should have kenneled them, it was not much of a vacation from that perspective.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautiful house. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully decorated. All the porches and the in-law apt gave us ways to all be together or go to our own little areas for some alone time. We enjoyed the dock and had numerous dolphin encounters kayaking and paddle boarding. It was also the perfect place to take your glass of wine, etc. and watch the sunset. My only complaints are that I didn’t realize how busy the street was that you have to cross to get to the dock. Think twice if you have little ones. Also the whole time we were there they were finishing work on the house next door. They started at 8:00 am every morning hammering, sawing, bob cat reverse beeps and this went on all day. They also blocked our driveway several times but were very nice and prompt when we asked them to move. All in all we had a very pleasant stay.

Overall this was a great rental property. The house is in a great neighborhood with easy walking access to the beach. The location is hard to beat. There is a nice outdoor space and lots of porches for relaxing. We were there in the winter and didn't use the porches as much as we would have in the summer. There was a little fenced in courtyard in the front. The house is older and settling, so the floor is very uneven upstairs. The house was missing a few stock items like oven mitts and draining towels. This property is managed by a large rental company. The communication was lacking. We had a problem with a bad fish oder in the refrigerator. Took them awhile to respond. We also tried to ask for a late departure and they never responded. Simply ignored multiple inquires. We also got a ticket for parking with our wheels on the road. So be careful where you park!

Extremely clean, comfortable furniture, well stocked with the feel of a well cared for home. Our three generation family gathering was very enjoyable. In fact, everyone said they preferred IOP to Hilton Head and Outer Banks from past summer trips. The young people loved having their jet skis across the street and spent many hours wake boarding any time of day - the dock is great and accessible at all tide levels. They saw many dolphins on their rides. If you venture to the other side of the main channel with your boats do be mindful of the tides and the sandbars. The older crowd enjoyed the front porch swing and the proximity to shopping and cultural events in Charleston and many restaurant selections nearby in Mount Pleasant. The beach walkers enjoyed the smooth sand from the bridge a block from the rental all the way past downtown IOP (great pit stop for clean public restrooms and water fountain) for miles to the other end of the island. We also enjoyed riding bikes over the bridge on Sullivan’s island or into IOP downtown for beachside rooftop beverages. Happy hour was also enjoyed at the Boathouse a block away on the rooftop bar watching dolphins (dinner inside was overpriced). We biked to beach access 3 most days which was a short easy trip or rode further into town to the county beach when the teenagers wanted to be around more people their age. Very nice to be within walking and riding distance to downtown IOP. Absolutely loved our first visit to IOP and would definitely chose this rental again. I do agree with other renters that there is a slight musty smell in the apartment over the garage but it did not bother the guests we had staying there and they loved the private space. It was great to have a second refrigerator over there. We loved all the decks and the front porch was a wonderful gathering spot. The yard is beautiful and the hammock was also very popular. It was fun to stay in a historic home and imagine what the island was like in its early years. The tilt to some of the floors added to the special feel of the place, we absolutely loved it.

House was charming with all 4 bedrooms up steep stairs and slanting hallways. Kitchen was smaller than expected and had old appliances but we only cooked one night so it wasn’t a big deal. Having an extra beverage cooler in the kitchen was great. Sofas were very comfortable and the large dining table was great. The bedroom over the garage was nice but the AC didn’t work the great. Lots of parking available and even space for our boat trailer. Would definitely rent here again even with all the quirks of an older house.

Beautiful inside and out!! This cottage is the perfect mix of classic cottage and modern needs! Decorated and furnished perfectly! The upstairs bathroom is a destination of its own. Have the extra unit over the garage was perfect for our family! Spaces for everyone! The dock is also a wonderful addition to the home! Perfect for sunsets!

The property was in a great location, near the beach and had nice views. We found a couple of dirty dishes, but beyond that the place was clean. The house is old so some cabinets aren't perfect, but the bathrooms and appliances were all sufficient. I would definitely come back to the property, especially if I had a large group. Thanks!

Very convenient dock access! One bedroom had bunk beds instead of trundle, but it was not an issue for us. We enjoyed the side yard as well

Home was in a great location and very charming. I loved the hammock in the yard and the front porch swing the best. The house was a bit choppy for me I prefer much more modern open spaces however still very nice and accommodating. The cottage over the garage was lovely that is where my husband and I stayed the only recommendation I would have been as a woman it was very hard to get ready in that bathroom without a front view mirror, minor details. We had such great access to the beach went there most evenings and mornings for walks and sunset and loved the restaurant walking distance across the street. Thanks!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! It is a fabulous location with easy access to Sullivan's Island, IOP beach access, and downtown Charleston. The property was very clean and offered a variety of seating and sleeping choices. The in-law suite is perfect to provide a separate area, but still be very close to everyone else in the main house. Great washer/dryer to keep up with laundry and towels throughout the week. The deck is beautiful to watch the sunset and see dolphins play. Very nice access for fishing and water sports. The kitchen has plenty of pots, pans, dishes, platters, etc. There are parts of the house that would benefit from upgrading (kitchen and smaller bedrooms) which is why it is not earning 5 stars (wish there was a 4 1/2 option). However, it is a wonderful property and we would definitely recommend it and return there in the future. Please note that the rental credit needs to be claimed in the first 24hr (we didn't read this) and lost that opportunity.

Nine of us stayed at this property for a family beach week and the overall experience was good. The house itself is old and there is evidence of that (very warped floors, crooked cabinets, etc.) but we did not have any issues with appliances or anything like that not working. If anything the age might have added to the quirkiness of the house.
The rooms themselves were comfortable for all of us and the AC worked great throughout the house. The porch and yard were a nice place to hang out and the garage was convenient for storing all of our beach gear.
The location is great, a bit of a walk to the beach but not bad at all and close to Sullivan's, Mt. Pleasant, and all the bar and restaurants on IOP.
If you are brining a boat, this house is absolutely perfect. The new dock is extremely well built and has a floating platform to account for the tides when docking. It also had a nice fish cleaning station and freshwater hose to make clean-up a breeze. Seriously the dock alone makes this property so so much better. Even if you don't have a boat it is a great place to swim and relax.
DO NOT PARK ON THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. I wished we had been told specifically that we would receive parking citations for parking outside the house we had just spent a decent amount of money renting for the week. Apparently that parking is reserved for permanent residents only, but I wish that had been made more clear.
Skip the Boathouse for dinner. Staff was nice but the food was drastically overpriced for the quality received. For a nice dinner go to one of the great restaurants on the peninsula (Fig, Leon's, High Cotton, Husk, etc.)

We were in town for a family wedding. The house is charming and we loved the dock. The beach is 2+ blocks the other way which we loved. There is a lot of traffic noise and the kitchen is kind of cut off from the rest of the house but then again, we didn't cook as there are so many terrific restraurants nearby.

Overall, we had a great time at 103 Carolina Blvd. I agree with another reviewer in regards to the location of the dock. The dock is beautiful, but it was a little bit like playing leap frog when having to cross the road. Other than that, the overall location and quaintness of the home was great.

This cute & cozy home was perfect for a few couples to stay while in town for a wedding. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean, and we really enjoyed the common areas. Felt like home away from home! Would absolutely rent again.

We came down to spend a month with our 2 year old daughter and in-laws to escape the cold and snow. This house really made our stay! While the house is right next to a relatively busy road and it could be a bit noisy in the morning from two of the bedrooms, we love this part of the Island and the house has fantastic views of the sound. There is a nice fenced in yard for kids or the dog to run free. The brand new private dock across the street is exceptional. Perfect for fishing, launching a kayak, and catching the sunset. Although an older property, it was very clean and the furniture is all very comfortable. The kitchen could use some updating, but it has literally everything you could need for your stay. The in-law suite is a fantastic feature for giving the family some space and privacy.
All in all, we loved our stay at 103 Carolina Blvd and we would definitely stay here again!
