The Home is dated and needs updating. The outside yard needs work. The showers need heavy cleaning and there was black stuff coming out of one of the showers. There was also a bad smell from the hot water. I know this was a lake house, but we had a lot of issues with bugs. We killed a lot of mosquitoes. While the location is lovely, our group does NOT recommend it due to lack of maintenance and cleanliness, as well as the owner’s deliberate deceptions to avoid a refund.When we checked in, we immediately notified the owner that a toilet was broken. Also, the shower spout was broken. A lamp was broken. And the railing at the top of the spiral staircase was loose and dangerous. The next day we told him that the tub would fill with dirt and grease when we ran the water.During our stay, we messaged the owner through the VRBO app of the problems which made the bathrooms unusable (we booked the house for the 4 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms). His responses promised a handyman to come several times, But each time no one came and we kept messaging. Finally someone came Sat night as we were preparing to go to dinner. He told us he had just been hired by the owner (which is not what that owner said). He evaluated each situation and told us the toilet and shower parts needed replacing and the Jacuzzi tub had not been maintained properly which caused the grime and oil back-up.We wrote to the owner asking some refund. He kept saying his “team is looking into it”. Even after check out he kept saying the same response. We called VRBO and learned that we needed to call them when the issues started so they could address it—we didn’t know this—and after the stay they could not help.The house and property also have several very dangerous steps that are hard to see.Avoid this property!

Family stay for college graduation

This property is a great fit for a group in need of separate sleeping accommodations and lots of bathrooms. We had 8 family members in town from across the country, and the space worked out perfectly. The views from the balcony are also amazing, and the location is close to everything you could need in Issaquah, and quick access to I-90. Allan, the property owner, was great to work with and quick to respond to any questions I had.

Long weekend stay for memorial service

My family, parents, and siblings all stayed here while in town for a memorial service. We needed a place that fit 7 adults and 3 children which can be really difficult to find a booking for. Our hosts had excellent communication and were very helpful. The home is absolutely beautiful and was perfect for our needs (especially the 5 bathrooms and good size kitchen)! Thank you so much for the perfect place.

Beautiful property on Lake Sammamish

Our Family had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. There were plenty of pots & pans for cooking. The property was easy to get to and was very private. The owner emailed regularly to check in and was very responsive. We had fun watching the Bald Eagles' nest in the trees. It was Great! Thank you.

Great Family Reunion

We stayed for 6 days and had a wonderful time; we left with lots of great family memories. The number of rooms and square footage allowed us (11 in all) to spread out, but also come together inside as well as outside on the deck, overlooking Lake Sammamish. The family continues to talk about the trip and the fond memories. The acreage of the property is private and large enough to explore, with a fenced-in wild blackberry patch close by. Large groceries stores were within 5 minutes by car, and a walking path around the lake was nearby.
