I stayed at this home in Jacksonville, FL this past weekend, and unfortunately the property did not meet expectations. While the house itself has potential and the pool was usable, there were several issues that made the stay less enjoyable. The pool floor wasn’t terribly dirty, but it looked unkept and could have been cleaned better. The landscaping around the pool area was very overgrown, with weeds covering the walkways, which made the outdoor space feel neglected. The listing advertised a hot tub, but when we arrived it was only half-filled, very dirty, and not functional.Inside the home, cleanliness was a major concern. The walls and baseboards were noticeably dirty, the floors showed signs of water damage, and the kitchen was not well-maintained. We found dirty dishes left in the dishwasher, kitchen cabinets filled with random junk, and the refrigerator itself needed cleaning. On top of that, the bathrooms had very low water pressure, which made showering inconvenient.Overall, the house could be a nice rental if it were given a deep cleaning and better upkeep, but in its current condition it falls short of what was promised in the listing. Future guests should be aware of these issues until the property is better maintained.
