Perched over the banks of the Goulburn River our renovated retro cabin is the perfect place stay. Play by the river, unwind in the hot tub or take a sauna and icy river dip to revive your love of nature.
In summer- Kick back under the giant liquid amber and watch the kids play in the crystal clear waters.
In winter- An easy drive to the top of Mt Buller and suddenly you are clicking into those bindings and are up and away!
Return back to our stylishly fitted-out lodging, pop your wet gear in the drying closet and pop your feet up by the wood fire or have a traditional steam sauna next to the river.

The space
The main house has two bedrooms and accommodates a six person booking. The master suite sleep two in a queen-size bed has built-in robes and brand new lux ensuite.
The second bedroom has a comfy double bed plus a bunk bed making this the perfect room for a family of four.
All rooms come with fluffy down pillows and lovely linen to keep you warm and fuzzy.
The main house has a wood fire in a fabulous open-plan living/ dining room adorned with large windows that look directly down to the river.
Sit on the deck and feed the king parrots or put your feet up with a cuppa and listen to the sounds of the river from the house.
The 3rd bedroom is external to the house- Located just outside the house with a direct view from bed of the river is a cosy designer A-frame cabin. The space has a very comfy new mattress on the floor and at the end of this small room has space for two duffel bags. This room is unlocked when booking for 6 or more guests.
Fully sealed from the weather with a custom lockable door and a glass window this space is perfect for getting back to nature in style.
Who needs camping when you can have all the comfort and full access to the luxury bathrooms inside the main house. Sleeps two adults or 3 small kids. Join your fellow guests inside at the kitchen island bench for a vino and a homemade pizza and retreat back into your zen zone away from the chaos in this blissful little abode. Great for moody teenagers who need their own space and adults alike. Book for 8 and unlock a 4th room, the office bungalow, fitted with a queenside bed, heater and mini bar fridge, bay doors and a little deck overlooks the river.
Other things to note
Dine at the local Jamieson Brewery or book at Delitite Winery for a tasting and cheese hamper.
For those wishing to self-cater. The closest supermarket is the IGA in Mansfield which you are likely to pass by on your way to our accommodation.
The IGA has a great gourmet section at the back with great ready-made pizza. Our kitchen has a lovely big 900mm oven and a pizza stone provided.
The local pubs are usually booked out in advance. Court House Hotel in Jamieson and or and Jamieson Brewery can be contacted well in advance to arrange a booking for lunch or dinner.
The Court House hotel has a teeny bottle shop with the basics.
A few doors down the general store in the main Street of Jamieson (closes at 4pm) sells bread, milk, ice, cheese, lettuce, hot chips, burgers, espresso coffee and sells things like USB cables, aeroguard, spring water etc.
Highly recommend packing Bushman’s friend insect repellant as there are March flys in Jamieson that have quite a sting.
Also recommend packing extra towels for swimming as these are not provided.
There is a petrol station in the Main Street, which is five/ ten mins drive from the house.
Our house has an Aldi brand pod coffee machine. A small number of complimentary pods are left for guests but we highly recommend you BYO Aldi Illy brand pods if you like your coffee.
Pets are not permitted.
Firewood is provided for inside use. BYO firewood if would like to have a bonfire outside by the river in the extra-large fire pit.
