An absolute rip off
Kitchen:
- Four main dinner plates. For a house that sleeps 10-12 people this is absurd.
- No dishwashing liquid - there was no way for us to wash large dishes, or the large wooden cutting board, how unhygienic.
- There was no coffee and very minimal tea in the house despite coffee percolators. At the exorbitant price we paid per night to not have coffee in the house is plain rude and terrible service.
General:
- Large washing basket left in the lounge room, likely left behind from cleaning.
- There were no hand towels or floor bathmats. The fact that we needed to BYO towels in an overpriced fee per night rental is unacceptable, but at least hand and floor towels could have been provided. We ended up using tea towels. Again, to use tea towels as substitute for hand towels in an excessively high cost per night rental is questionable.
Outdoor:
- BBQ was extremely dirty. Instructions was to clean after our use, the BBQ was not clean when we arrived.
- The grass at the property was unkept and extremely long, so much so that it was uncomfortable to walk in and made the backyard unusable. Lawn was over 30cm long in parts and extremely difficult to work in. With one of the main features of the property being the large lawn, this made the stay very unpleasant.
Contact was made with the rental manager to discuss these issues with no response, so no option but to leave the review.
