“The Jet Hotel was nice stay on the way out of town. The rooms are functional, the bed was quite firm but that didn't seem unusual for Cameroon. A few notes: the air conditioner just has an on off switch but it works, the pool was quite nice but had a large party there so not exactly peaceful. The area immediately surrounding the hotel is not the best but I didn't spend much time in Douala so I can't give a true comparison to other areas. The hotel staff was somewhat insistent that we take cabs……

The hotel had to provide me with their own internet access. Overall, the staff were very helpful. I would not hesitate to book another stay on my next travel to Douala. ”

“The hotel is nice. One of the best hotels in Douala. Nice area, nice room, nice restaurant and nice cleaning quality. But front desk attitude seems need to be improved, feeling bad when checkin and also checkout, especially a person named Cyril, bad attitude and even not willing to give me the change after I pay the minibar fee. He said there is no change and not even try to fix it, seems like to force me to take the change as his tips. After all, this is a nice hotel. ”
