“I stayed for just one night at Afrique Hotel, Douala and it is a very pleasant experience. I was picked up from the airport and also dropped off at 4am to catch an early morning flight. The room and facilities were neat and decent.The hotel staff were very friendly and accomodating.I will not hesistate to recommend the hotel to others.”

“The Jet Hotel was nice stay on the way out of town. The rooms are functional, the bed was quite firm but that didn't seem unusual for Cameroon. A few notes: the air conditioner just has an on off switch but it works, the pool was quite nice but had a large party there so not exactly peaceful. The area immediately surrounding the hotel is not the best but I didn't spend much time in Douala so I can't give a true comparison to other areas. The hotel staff was somewhat insistent that we take cabs……

“Séjour en famille avec nos deux enfants à bas âge. Prévenez l’hôtel à l’avance si vous avez des enfants pour un lit bébé éventuellement. Les lits sont très grands les chambres espacieuses avec des meubles de qualité tenues au propre. Le personnel est très accueillant et est réactif aux demandes. Si vous parlez anglais ne vous inquiétez pas ils parlent anglais. La cuisine est très bonne, L’espace extérieur est à croquer, et la piscine est un régal. Ce fut un moment agréable dans un cadre……

“Huone siisti, mutta pieni. Samoin pesuhuone pieni. Lämmintä vettä tulee suihkusta. Huonehintaan kuuluu vain yksi aamiainen, vaikka varauksessa on kaksi. Myös pyyhkeitä on vain yksi kahdenhengen huoneessa. Aina on neuvoteltava asiasta. Huone on hyvin meluinen. On vaikea nukkua. Musiikki jytisee ihan sänkyyn asti. Ympäristö on myös likainen. “Dans l'ensemble le séjour s'est très bien passé.
J'ai réduis ma note à cause du petit incident de la taxe de séjour.
Sur votre site vous demandez 3 € de taxes de séjour alors que la résidence ne demande que 500 Je FCFA soit 0,76 €, ce qu'elle m'a fait payer en arrivant.
Donc en allant sur le site la résidence m'a fait payé le complément soit pour 6 jours 15 €.
C'est un détail mais qui a créé une tension entre la résidence et moi.
Jules le gestionnaire de la résidence est très sympathique.”
