This place was very clean very quiet very close to downtown. The bed was excellent to sleep in. I would highly recommend and will likely rebook again.

We had a lovely stay. The space is nicely decorated, clean, and welcoming—exactly what we were hoping for. The bathroom was spotless and well-stocked with all the essentials, which made settling in very easy and comfortable.
We really appreciated the care that clearly went into making the space cozy and inviting.
We had a lovely stay. Zach was extremely attentive and accommodating. The proximity to town was great. Each room also has a set of bikes that make roaming around easy and fun. Will definitely be staying there again next time we are in town.
Quiet space for two with a few quirks. Key entry was a bit of a pain and road ways were hard to navigate at first. However good place for a quiet getaway.
I enjoyed my stay after the manager offered me an upgrade simply because nobody else was staying in the other cabin for the weekend. The cabin was clean and refreshing. I enjoyed my stay!
My girlfriend and I stayed for the weekend and went into Jefferson and fished at Caddo. Our place was awesome, clean and welcoming. The owners were easy to communicate with and accommodating!
We will be back!
We enjoyed our stay in the Bordeaux room in the main house. It was easy to find, clean, and equipped with a microwave and a refrigerator. We walked to the town square and explored various shops. Since Caddo Lake was our prime reason for coming, we drove about 30 min to be on a lake tour.
The picture looks great but not up to par. Ceiling fan didn’t work. The plug above the coffee area didn’t work. Air unit is loud for sleeping. Lock box is not easy to get into. For my older hands anyway. Nice snacks and coffee furnishings. Comfortable bedding. Location is good.
The Bordeaux Room was the perfect getaway spot for our 33rd anniversary.
The stay started with the accurate description and ease of locating this room online. With an unexpected change in out plans, I was completely surprised to find the Bordeaux available on short notice. Thankfully it was available.
The communication with host Zach, was the best i have ever experienced. From messaging through email, to text response for immediate needs and questions Zach knows how to communicate with guests. The directions were spelled out very clearly and that made everything so easy.
The house is located in downtown Jefferson, Texas and at the end of a dead end street. This proved to be a very tranquil setting and the property is beautiful.
The room was perfect for us, historic yet very comfortable. Cleanliness was top notch. Water and snacks greeted us. There was coffee provided for the Keurig. We used the Keurig, the microwave and the mini-fridge. All were very clean and worked great.
I sat on the porch and had coffee and enjoyed the nature all around. The bed was comfortable. The TV worked fine. The bathroom was very nice and my wife and I were able to get ready at the same time.
The host was thoughtful and shared information about Jefferson and the surrounding East Texas area.
There is no doubt that we will return and tell our friends about the value and wonderful experience that we had staying at the Bordeaux Room in Jefferson.
Thank you.
Amenities and location were good! Bed and room were comfortable but heat from house did not kick on until during the first night and was freezing until room heater got it warmed up. Then we were nice and toasty! Key box and leaving key there at all times was a little unusual but not a problem either. Flower beds and a few upkeep items outside looked like needed some attention, but other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was very comfortable for the price and amenities!! Adding a lounge chair of some sort would have been nice for sitting before bed.... Thanks so much, we had a wonderful time and details were as advertised. Was easy in and out! Thanks again.
Clean and cozy room…nice and big, and I loved the high ceilings!

Zach was a wonderful host, easy to communicate with and provided a clean cozy space for me and my husband. We enjoyed the town and how convenient our place was from everything!
Thank you for a great getaway!
