I think from a couple of years the quality of the hotel has gone down a lot. Was really looking forward to my stay this time but was a little bit disappointed with the food and overall smell of the hallways of the hotel. However the pool is always great

I love everything about the Grand Hyatt Jeju. It has wonderful staff, the rooms are great. We were even upgraded to sea view rooms cause the hotel could not accommodate adjoining room with our parent. Everything is great except it is too big. It feels like a Las Vegas resort. Crowded and looses some personal charm. This is no means the fault of the staff, at every point, when I needed help, the staff is 100% helpful. It s more of the hustle and bustle and not an island vibe

THE place to stay on Jeju Island

Very comfortable & spacious rooms. Jake, our guest service liaison was gracious & hospitable; recommended several things to do & places to eat. Wish we could have used the pool & jacuzzi but the weather was not conducive to outdoor activities.

Good hotel in a good location

Loved how spacious the room, lounge armchair was very comfortable. The room was very clean and the view was great. Service was almost close to perfect but they took a very long time to push the luggage trolley to my room. Not good when you’re in a rush

This hotel is a gem! Our room was spacious with a great view. The hotel has so many property amenities, including a spa, gym, pools, restaurants, and shopping areas. I booked a massage and facial at the spa, and the experience was very relaxing. We ordered room service several times and ate dessert at the Pop-up Plaza, and everything we ordered was delicious. Parking in the garage was easy and convenient. It was a wonderful stay!

Grand Hyatt Jeju, A Very Comfortable Stay

The Grand Hyatt in Jeju is a landmark and it's easy to see why with the massive Dream Tower dwarfing all other buildings in the vicinity. We were graciously offered a free monitor upgrade due to staying multiple nights. There were numerous restaurants in the hotel but we didn't try any, since there were countless options in the surrounding blocks. Again there is a lot of shopping, which we did not take part in, but it was interesting to walk around. The outdoor pool was great and the kids absolutely loved it. The only downside is that both the indoor and outdoor pools get VERY busy as this is a very popular hotel, so we found the sweet spot with going around dinner time while other people are eating. Bonus points that we found out about a free shuttle back to the airport even though the Hyatt website says that you should take a taxi or the bus.

Ok hotel for a Jeju visit

This is a 5 star hotel with lot of good facilities and a great view of Jeju City. Unfortunately, the hotel has a bunch of weird rules, including some fairly hostile pool rules that prevent “children” under 150 cm from swimming in the rather shallow pools. They can only enter if they wear a bizarre and, frankly, borderline humiliating equipment that includes a full body life vest, and some additional flotation equipment that prevent any swimming. Breakfast is very expensive but is also probably one of the best buffets that I have seen. The hotel auto-mailed a welcome email but did not respond to messages. All in all, this was not a 5 star experience but the hotel also placed itself at a price point far below usual 5 star levels.

Fantastic city view although we just booked a normal room. Absolutely clean and big. The area is just a little inconvenient if taking the bus.

Built luxurious. Interior feels like Chinese color. Elevator speaker broadcast only english. Signs show only english and chinese. Not recommended for Koreans and non Chinsse visitors.
