One very special and memorable touch was the host’s thoughtfulness regarding our nationality — when we arrived, Brazilian music was playing in the house, making us feel immediately welcomed and at home.We recommend this property without any hesitation. "Cabin was very nice but needs some small maintenance. Electrical plug at left of the sink has loose connections. Trim on left of bedroom "barn door" needs nailing. Shower has low water pressure. Only one table spoon in cutlery set and no serving spoons.These are minor issues biut would add to the enjoyment of the stay "

"These hosts are very friendly and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. They even came looking to find us when we couldn’t find the entrance to their property! The stairs up to the loft sleeping area are very steep, but the bed was extremely comfortable. If someone can’t manage the stairs, there is a pull out sofa also provided. Great location when looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway. "

"My friend and I traveled from Maine for a Nova Scotia adventure and were so lucky to find this gem on Lake Wentworth. The house is brand new and right on the lake, with the most spectacular sunset and star gazing. Very off the beaten path, and a lovely and helpful host. "

"This property was the perfect cabin in the woods getaway. It was exactly as pictured and described and had everything needed to recharge in nature! The host communicated all directions needed to find the location and prepare for the stay. "

"This is an amazing property! It’s very clean and everything we needed was there. The lake was so peaceful, and beautiful. The cottage is located in the woods which made it so private. The family loved swimming, kayaking, and fishing all week. We really didn’t need to do anything more than stay at the cottage. We are hoping to make it a yearly thing with family, considering that half of us live in Ontario and the other half are in Nova Scotia. Thank you again to Andrea for hosting us!!! "
