Sungsim
2.5 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (109)
"Excellent location right in centre of cultural town. Couple owns the property- lady Mia speaks English. Very clean place- good and fun experience sleeping on the futon. Futon was thick so for me no problem sleeping! Room was big enough for 3 of us, but to you will need to keep your luggage and stuff tidy. Breakfast is toast and carefully cut fruits. On the last day we didn’t realise check out was 10, and came back at 11. Mia was very accommodating. She also called us a taxi to send us to the...

HanokGuesthouse Jangsoo
2.5 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very good, (22)
"Jangsoo Hanok Guesthouse (sometimes spelt Jangsu) is right in the centre of the hanok village of Jeonju, literally a stone's throw from the main crossroads of the district (Taejo-ro x Eunhaeng-ro). Only its gate faces the road, so you have to look closely to spot it. The house itself is down a garden pathway. The family operating the inn speaks very little English, but they can understand the essential words. Do not expect an antique building; it looks quite new, but built in the traditional...

"Perfect location a 10 minute walk from the main tourist area. Spacious room but no coffee making facilities, which was a shame. Well appointed bathroom too. Hotel has an interesting film library downstairs and there is a cafe, but that doesn’t open until 9am. We would stay here again."

"객실이 조금 작았습니다. 한옥 마을의 하루 정도 체험하는 형태로 괜찮을 듯합니다. 한옥 마을 내에 위치한 것은 상당한 강점일 듯 합니다."

2.5 star property
7.0 out of 10, Good, (88)
"Its a decent place to stay, the room is clean and have very homely feel to it. The service is also good as me and friend when few hours before check in time and the front desk offer to look after our luggage while we can go have a look around the area until check in time. The place is located very near the JIFF which is an attraction. It takes a 2 minutes walk and you will reach there. Also the Jeonju Hanok village is also within walking distance, arpund 20-30 min walk."
