Somerville Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We have stayed at the Somerville three times, one being while they hosted our wedding day, and each time was wonderful. We can't fault it. It is situated in a very nice location for sea views, public transport, pubs, restaurants and local shops. It's around a 15 minute drive from the airport. The staff are always helpful, polite and friendly, the hotel is beautiful, the food is delicious and amenities are very good. Thanks again, Somerville!"

"Really nice hotel and the spa is fantastic. A couple of suggestions to make it even better 1. Some of the guests said they had no aircon. Our room was great, but it sounded like a few rooms were without, which wasn't so good in the hot weather. 2. It would be nice to have more water in the rooms. We had 2 plastic bottles of water in day 1. Maybe a glass bottle which could be refilled (better than plastic bottles) would be better 3. We were a little surprised that last orders at the bar was 11:00pm Not big issues - the hotel is lovely, but 1 or 2 considerations could improve things."

"Reception : Glady's extremely helpful - a lovely person Breakfast : Excellent choices for most tastes - staff really helpful and hardworking Bar : Staff are knowledgeable and helpful The hotel is lacking in only some live after 9 P.M. evening entertainment."
Westhill Country Hotel

"Gardens, pool & aviary all in fine condition, a pleasant and interesting layout to the whole site. Room decor a little tired and this was an old-style small single bed with a mattress approaching the end of its service life. Could hear noises from guest in next room but nothing too intrusive. Food at dinner very nice if a bit portion-controlled. Cheerful staff were helpful and kept up a good atmosphere. Was my 2nd visit and I hope to return"

"The hotel was really lovely. The views were second to none but it was the staff that made the stay . The staff were excellent. So friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The food in The Azure Restaurant was delicious. I would highly recommend the hotel and I would definitely return."
The Savoy Jersey

"We had room 100, which was lovely and spacious. Very clean and a useful fridge. We appreciated the bottles of water. There is no air con, so this is not great, especially with the temperatures! Also our window opened out onto other living accommodation and some evenings they were having a barbecue under our window, which was smelly. Not sure what fuel they were using! The breakfast each morning was lovely and plentiful. We didn't have an evening meal so can't comment on that. All in all a good stay at The Savoy."
The Royal Yacht

"We stayed 4 nights early August. The hotel is made up of 2 buildings but joined together. So you can go from one side to another without issue. Other than the stairs if you have a room in the older part of the building. We stayed on 3rd floor but after taking lift had to use stairs to get in to the old building. Not an issue for us as we travelled with back packs but something to be aware of. Breakfast was great with a decent variety. We used the spa facilities and they were great only regret we should have used more. Staff throughout hotel are amazing and truly helpful. My wife's birthday fell during our stay and unexpectedly she was left cards and a small gift. I hadn't mentioned the birthday so they staff must have picked up the info when we handed our passports in. I would definitely stay here again if O come to Jersey."

"The property was clean & generally well maintained, however it is an older property that would benefit from some updates, such as air conditioning I stayed during a very hot period & although there was a fan in my room it was not adequate, the windows also only open a little The rooms are generally well equipped, however would also benefit from having a small fridge The staff were very friendly & helpful & were always willing to offer information & help when needed The breakfast is very good value, however I would prefer to sit where I want to rather than being directed to a particular table There is adequate parking at the rear of the hotel & an area at the front for pick ups I have stayed at the hotel several times & as a single person have felt welcomed & comfortable"
