I had paid for 3 nights and then left after 2. There was water leakage when shower turn on flooding floors. I reported it but was told nothing can be done before Shabbat. My room wasn't vacuumed from prior guest, it was dusty. Found garbage swept under nightstand, chair, etc.

This “hotel” is so disgusting. From the moment you walk in through the doors and are welcomed by a pile of garbage bags and boxes by the stairs. I understand that its an old building, so be aware that there’s no elevator. You must drag your heavy luggage upstairs. The lobby is filled with old furniture where the couch”cushions” are so old and sat on that they no longer bounce back after someone sat on it. Its permanently indented. The rooms are not vacuumed and covered in crumbs and dusty carpet. The walla have old stains on them as if someone spilled coffee and left it to dry. There were boogers on the walls. Dirty/crusted mini fridge. I checked the bed for bed bugs and was welcomed with head and body hairs all over the sheets. The shower curtain was black and moldy all over. The “balcony” we paid “extra” for had a broken, dangling awning and filthy plastic chairs covered in stains and bird poop. Half used soaps, the flush button fell off and rolled away. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU VALUE CLEANLINESS.

Good for a nights sleep.

For what it costs, I give it high marks. Don't expect alot, looks old, but it is clean and confortable for a nighys sleep. Not a place to stay if you expect to be spending significant time in the room.

Great Hotel for Longer Stays in Jerusalem

Centrally by Jaffa St Center City located just 10 minutes walk from the Old City of Jerusalem. The hotel is conveniently surrounded by stores and restaurants with a secured locked entry code at the front entrance. The room has its own bathroom shower, heater, A/C, fridge, TV and WiFI. Coffee, tea, water is served at the lobby. The Checkin was smooth and manager responds to calls / text immediately. The rest of the hotel staff are friendly and professional. For a longer stay in Jerusalem, Zion Hotel has a great value for your money that I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location a bit dated with a bright future.

The location of the property couldn’t have been better. Easy access or short walks to shops and restaurants. The Old City and other historical sites are about 15-20 min walks. The hotel is dated but I came to be informed that a new owner is in there and has many plans for bringing the property up to date. It’s a beautiful old building with charm so hearing this definitely makes the future much more bright for future guests. The staff was great but short of personnel due to the ongoing war. The price was definitely reflective of the amenities and age of the place. I look forward to seeing how they bring back the charm and making it into a really nice place.

overall was what i expected for the price. Nice surprise was a common kitchen. The Bad: no tv or room fridge as advertised. It is up to other guest to let new arrivals in so prepare to wait outside for someone who happens to be leaving or coming. Pointing this out to the staff was met with shrugs. They didnt care.
