A Gem in Jim Thorpe
Wonderful property on quiet street within walking distance of town and walking/biking trails. Well-appointed, clean and comfortable. Loved the fireplace, such a perfect added touch! Look forward to returning!

Impressed a Road Warrior
As somebody who spends more nights in hotel beds than home each year and has lifetime platinum status at every major hotel chain, I’m not easily impressed. Still, I thoroughly enjoyed this property. This was a business trip, but the lack of chain hotels in the area necessitated a Vrbo rental. I have had mixed results in the past, so I was understandably nervous… for no reason. The property was exactly as described, it was a very old building, but it was recently remodeled and totally refreshed. I also loved the in suite washer/dryer which allowed me to do my on the road laundry without quarters. My only complaint is more of a regret, this property was so romantic and cozy it was a shame to only stay one night. I will definitely be returning in the future for a romantic few days in the Switzerland of Pennsylvania.

Cozy place in town
This 1 bedroom was perfect size for me and my husband. Fireplace was wonderful! We had a little snowfall the first night, it was a beautiful setting while visiting the town during Winterfest. Apartment was very clean, had everything we needed. Met one of the owners, super nice guy!

Great accommodations in a wonderful location.
We've been talking about visiting Jim Thorpe for a while & finally made time to follow through. The town itself, with it's historic buildings & modern conveniences make Jim Thorpe one of the most quaint & heartwarming places we've ever visited. Our accommodations were everything we hoped for, clean, cozy & centrally located just off the beaten path with parking on site. Our host was beyond welcoming & very friendly with advice about local attractions. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone planning to visit Jim Thorpe. Val & Ed

Great location for walking
Really enjoyed our stay here in Jim Thorpe. It is great for walking everywhere, parking perfect, our dog loved it. The owners were so friendly and helpful, really made you feel welcome and comfortable. They have created this great sitting walking space on hill above property. It was all decked out for Halloween which made it even more fun and lively.

Great little getaway
This was a great place to stay as we explored Jim Thorpe. Great location to walk into town and not fuss with the parking or driving situation downtown and close to the parks. Everything was clean and easy to find within the apartment and no fuss to use anything.

Good location, plus reserved parking which is like gold in Jim Thorpe. Good stay for a couple with a dog. Clean, well kept, all the amenities you need. Innkeeper and owner were friendly and helpful when you needed them, but not intrusive. Also a fair price on rent! Would stay again if we returned.

Great recharge of a getaway!
This was such a wonderful quick getaway with the hubs and both of our dogs. Very dog friendly environment, responsive care of the space. Walkable to so many fascinating things. All around win for my birthday!!

Best way to experience Jim Thorpe! We parked the car and walked the whole time we were there. The location was the perfect homebase for our 2-day stay. The property itself was clean and modern. Definitely want to come back and stay here again!

Our first time in Jim Thorpe and renting through VRBO. Our host Jeffrey and property manager Chad were friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and comfy; great location. We brought our dog and Jeffrey provided suggestions for dog friendly activities and restaurants. High recommend High Street guesthouse! We will be back.

Exceptionally Clean Apartment, wonderfully decorated. Felt very comfortable and at home. Located off the town's primary street, yet very quiet. Had a designated parking space which was great. Easy walk into town and sights. Hosts were excellent with communication, check in was very easy and were in communication with me to ensure all was well. Will definitely return.

Cute apartment in great location
The apartment is exactly as in the photos. It was clean, tasteful and had everything we needed. It was in a perfect location and just a short walk from restaurants, bars, shops and attractions. A designated parking spot plus beautiful and relaxing outdoor spaces (a private patio with a grill, an eclectic gazebo overlooking town with comfortable seating, and a large lush garden on the hill) were added pluses. Jeff and his property manager Chad were super nice and always available to answers questions and give us pointers about Jim Thorpe. We are already looking forward to our next stay.

A wonderful place to stay in Jim Thorpe.
This rental property was just perfect - The apartment was very clean, well organized, neat and comfortable. It is located in a great spot in Jim Thorpe with easy access to the wonderful shops and restaurants in the town. Jeffery was a fantastic host, providing lots of helpful information and tips about things to do. He was also incredibly responsive every time I sent him a message. We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely Getaway
Tucked in a quiet neighborhood, just outside the busiest part of town, we enjoyed the one bedroom place - retro and rustic decor. The amenities and provisions were adequate. We cooked a steak one night but mostly ate out at places that allowed our little dog on the outside seating and even took the train ride with him. Chad and Jeff, were very responsive to just a few small fixes. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Mountain bike trip to enjoy some trails
Great property and location to all in town. Super clean and roomy apartment rental. Even had washer and dryer to clean my dirty bike clothes after riding. Parked car in designated spot and didn't need it for rest of trip. Rode to all of the trail heads and walked to dinner and breakfast on my days there. Looking forward to my September stay for the Boulder field 100 race.
