"This was an amazing experience and would definitely repeat if we’re ever back in the Taos area. Beautiful scenery and a place to live where you really get a feel for living closer to nature and its rhythms. The house stayed a very comfortable temperature the whole time, and everything worked as they should! The main bedroom’s bed was very comfortable as well! Loved the plants in the front room and really contributed to the feeling of the place being alive. You’re about 30 minutes or less from Taos which was really fun to explore as well as other things a little further away. Thanks for a memorable stay!"

Spectacular Earthship

"Staying in an Earthship is a cool experience! This home is like a retreat inside, We just loved all the details. The smell of the flowers when you enter and the full wall of glass gives you the feel of being outside, but with all the amenities of a home. The bottle walls are beautiful, including the shower. Our son went to Earthship Academy last fall and explained the construction process and concept to us. But until you " live " the experience you can't fully appreciate it. The construction is so unique and interesting, its worth the stay. I recommend doing the Earthship tour to gain a greater understanding these homes. It is a beautiful home in a great location. FYI, so thankful you had the French Press coffee directions. It had been quite a while since I had made coffee that way--So enjoyable to slow down and enjoy the coffee, the home, and the view of the mountains! Thank you We would highly recommend staying here!"

"From sibling: For me the location and remote surroundings between Taos and the mtn was perfect. A close second was the private casista with its own bathroom was ideal.Another sibling: All good. And the kitchen was well equipped. Another sibling: All good. I liked the layout- that we each could have privacy when desired.Me: Agree — great location, kitchen, layout, privacy when needed. We all recommend Casa de Little Tree 5"

"We stayed at Traveler Spirit last night and it was our second Earthship experience. Every time we do this, we fall a little more in love with the lifestyle.The living area and kitchen were our favorite spaces. They felt incredibly cozy, yet the high ceilings made everything feel open and roomy at the same time. It struck that perfect balance between grounded and expansive.The vigas are beautiful and add so much warmth and character to the space. You can feel the intention in the design. It is simple, sustainable and peaceful without feeling sparse.If you are curious about Earthship living, this is a wonderful place to experience it. We left inspired and already talking about when we can come back."
