Great property

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. It over looks the valley and is quite and peaceful. If you are in the Johnson city area with a big party this house is perfect.

Quiet Country Setting

It was very peaceful except for a storm that came through the last night. It’s quiet and beautiful up on top of the hill. It’s perfect for families that want to get away. We saw deer and sat on the porch and watched the sunsets. The hot tub was nice.

BIRTHDAY GET AWAY

This was the perfect home getaway! it was a total of 10 of us (5 couples) we each had our own privacy. The view of the home is breathtaking which was perfect for pictures. The hot tub was amazing. the front porch was welcoming. It gave me a good feeling of freedom. I will definitely book this home again for the future

Beautiful Home

We enjoyed our stay at Stanton Valley, especially the view and the wildflowers! The drive from the main road is a little long and dusty but was well worth it to have such a nice view and a beautiful home. The kitchen was well stocked, house and bunkroom was clean, beds were comfy and air worked well. There was a bit of a challenge finding the correct gate to enter since the instructions from rental company had the wrong address but we got that cleared up. Pool cues need new tips but we enjoyed the ping pong table, fire pit, gas grill and watching the stars. Quite neighborhood too.

Beautiful Quiet Location

Lovely quiet property in the middle of no-where but a easy drive to Johnson City and other points of interest. Great "guest house" separate from Main House. We used it for the under 4 year old's and extra adults to sleep in peace while the rest of the family stayed up and played games. Only issue is the guest house internet is very sketchy and the baby monitors barely reached. Otherwise the guest house is very comfortable and roomy. The Bunks are super sturdy and can sleep adults. The "Game Room' is just a pool table and a little run down, but still a place play pool. The Main House has plenty of room and great porches, Hot tub is a nice addition. Overall, had a great stay!

Beautiful view!

This was an amazing property! Although not mentioned in the ad our favorite part was the view! Property is on a hill with a beautiful view of the hill country. Main house was beautiful, large living area with comfortable furniture, spacious kitchen with everything you need, master bedroom very large with door to front porch. Mattress was the best I have ever slept on, in fact if you don’t mind sending me info on it I would like to get one! Large master bath with walk-in shower, my only complaint would be the window in the shower with no blind, it looks out over patio with grill and hot tub and if we had family with us it would be hard to take a shower. Second bedroom in main house was nice with adjoining bath. Bunk house has two bedrooms and bunk room great for large family get together. Has large game room with pool table as well as ping pong table in carport and lots of other outdoor games. Overall a beautiful location and amazing home, we plan on coming back with family.

Needs Some Attention

The hot tub did not work! Seemed to be an issue with the heater according to the error message it displayed. Incredibly disappointing as this was one of the reasons we booked this property. I reached out to the host, after trying everything, for any tips on how to get it working & they were completely unresponsive. The oven in the main house also did not work. It would preheat for a few seconds & then turn off. It also beeped periodically all day and night. Aside from these two issues the property itself was beautiful, scenic and secluded. Unfortunately, the disappointment of the broken hot tub really put a damper on our stay.
