"It was expensive because of the graduation prices, but it was still the most affordable option while still offering a healthy environment for me and my pet. The bar had excellent service, and the mac and cheese at the restaurant was the best I had ever had."

"This is an old property, and the rooms reflect the age. Not bad, dirty, or in disrepair, but well used and not updated. The breakfast had decent variety, but the "hot" items were not very good at all, maybe because they were kept in steamer trays with no heat source. But the waffle maker worked great, and the coffee machine serves hot fresh brew 24/7. Front desk staff was mostly absent during key hours (like morning check out). Seems like they live on the property, and spend more time there than being available to serve customers, etc. But, the price was right, and more reasonable than brand name accommodations in nearby Whitewater."

"I love staying here as a woman traveling alone! I feel completely safe. The ruins are lovely. The staff even more lovely. I can even walk safely to watch my son play baseball for the Lake Country Dockhounds as it's in walking distance. All staff, at all levels, are extra friendly, professional and super courteous! Will always be my go- to stay when in town!! From NY!!"

"The hotel is in a quiet environment with beautiful trees and green lawns. We booked a room for 4 people, and it was pretty spacious when we walked in. The purpose of our stay was for the daughter’s graduation ceremony at UW, so it was around a 20 minute drive away from campus (a little far but not a problem if you have a car). There’s a Kwik Trip and car wash conveniently located next to the hotel. For food, there’s also a Culver’s and an Arby’s located nearby. The hotel also has your standard hotel breakfast, which doesn’t have much variety but it’s a great free amenity, if you don’t want to travel for food. Highly recommend for travelers."
