The only negative is the water smells a bit funky, but that should not be a deterrent because this trip is so special. Do not miss out, book the caboose!!”

“We need to visit this area several times a year. It's close to Cooperstown an easy drive along the lake with a price that is reasonable. Rooms are recently renovated and well maintained. Staff and owners are easy to communicate with. The information needed for check in, stay and departure were easily laid out. If you need a place to stay while having business to do in the Cooperstown area, I highly recommend KC's and best of all your pet is welcome.”

“Harry was such a pleasure to work things out with; I had planned a trip and ended up rather late on it, but had zero issues with communicating and getting the whole thing sorted. Great vibes and very reminiscent of farmland across the country. Be AWARE that the bathroom situation is as it is written: The outhouse is the sole bathroom, and it is very clean with modern seating arrangements, but just like a classic outhouse, it does not have running water. “The whole experience of staying in a train car was fun. But when I walked in it was better than I could have ever imagined. The decor was on point bringing you back in time. Host was wonderful, space was clean, comfortable and beautiful. I loved that it was right next to the river which was so peaceful to have a cup of morning coffee. I would bring a sleep mask, the stained glass door in the bedroom let in a lot of light at night. Perfect spot , 30 mins from Herkimer mines. I will……

“This actually is a luxurious 2 bedroom loft as described and shown. 2 Beautiful bedrooms, with 2 beautiful bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen- pots, pans, plates and utensils, basic spices, refrigerator, dishwasher. 12 foot ceilings, lovely couches and views. Washer and dryer. Great central location. Walking distance to so many things. What a great place to stay. Professional Hostess, easy and secure access.”

“The property was nice n clean. But check in was difficult. We were in t property around 4:30pm on a hurry to check in n change for a wedding, but it came out we couldn’t get in , cause t host forgot we r coming n didn’t prepare t place. Other than that problem it was quite good n well maintained place.”
