Best place near Joshua tree

We had a wonderful stay. The property was just amazing , clean and relaxing. The property was clean and we really enjoyed star gazing in the hot tub in the evening and exploring Joshua Tree in the day. The host was also responsive and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for an acclimation near the national park.

Quiet, perfect for star gazing

Loved the place, very comfortable with an added plus of 2 ensuite large bedrooms. A mere 8 minutes once you go down the rough dirt access road (8/10 of a mile) to the main road. Very comfortable patio for dining and lounging.

Perfect Location

We arrived at night, so it was a bit difficult to navigate to the house once we turned off the main road, but thankfully GPS kept us on target. Upon arrival we noticed that the lock on one of the sliding glass doors was broken, but my husband was able to rig it together to make us comfortable until a maintenance person could come fix it. Communication throughout our stay was consistent and easy. The location of the property was perfect. We were a stone's throw from one of the park's entrance, but also a short drive to downtown JT for meals out and shopping. We spent so much time in the park, we really didn't have enough time to enjoy all of the available amenities. I recommend this house and would stay there again (hopefully soon!).

Desert Delite

Gorgeous home just minutes from entrance to Joshua Tree. Pristinely clean. Actually the only rental Iā€™ve ever given a full five stars for cleanliness. And Iā€™d like to apologize to the cleaners for not leaving a bigger tip. When check out time came we realized we only had a few dollars between us. Loved the hot tub! Easy to use. Even I was able to lift the lid off. Beds were very comfy. Kitchen was adequately stocked but could use some new cookware and using the microwave required the use of a kitchen chair to reach as it is in the top shelf of the kitchen cabinets and was unable to reach it without the risk of dumping hot liquid on myself. Also glasses on top shelf could not be reached. A step stool in the kitchen would have been nice. Both bedrooms could use some heavier curtains or shades as they face east and the morning sun comes shining in. Also both showers were designed poorly as you canā€™t turn on the water without wet as the entrance is on the wrong side of the shower. And please put a door on the master bedroom bath. Most people like privacy when using the bathroom. I know I must sound like I am complaining but none of these would keep me from renting it again. Itā€™s just observations for improvements that would make this a truly stellar property.

Wonderful property. Cozy, Comfortable indoor and outdoor space. Very quick access to Joshua Tree National Park, 5 min from property. Easy trip into town for meals or well-equipped kitchen for in-house cooking. Had a little tech hiccup with welcome package/check-in instructions going to spam filter and no analog back-up, but that is my fault not the managements. Would definitely stay again.

Rightfully Called Dreamspace

We were lucky enough to stay for six nights and were enchanted. After satisfying days in the park -- so close! -- we skipped over ever going out to eat in favor of spending evenings watching the sun set on the surrounding hills (even a space ex launch made amazing contrails) and seeing the stars, planets, and a handful of shooting stars from the hot tub. The air is so fresh and the valley is amazingly quiet and serene. Love your choices in decor and artwork and the comfy bed (add: well equipped and very clean). We hated to leave.

Five Star Desert Oasis

Look no further, you found THE BEST desert property! The view vista-wonderful. The property an oasis from the day-to-day grind. Stress just melts away, are your needs are met, outdoor spa, gas fire-pit. outdoor dining, relaxation covered gathering area to see & hear desert nature in bloom. Inside, all your needs are taken care of; just unpack and feel stress melt-away. Side note: Donā€™t use GPS, itā€™s wrong, has arduous road; follow written driving directions and drive slowly itā€™s not paved. Enjoy!

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home with gorgeous views of the desert and rocky hills. It was the cleanest vacation rental I've ever stayed in. Check-in and out were a breeze, and the property management company provides a handy mobile app that gives local recommendations and useful info about operating the fire pit, hot tub, BBQ, etc. Comfortable beds and furnishings. Well stocked kitchen. A few cons - there is no door between the main bedroom and bathroom, so we were constantly running to the toilet in the second bedroom, which was a bummer. Also, the second bedroom has no blackout curtains on the giant east-facing window, so when the sun comes up the room gets roasting hot and blindingly sunny. The curtains in the main bedroom's east-facing window aren't big enough for the window so the morning sun hits your eyes in that room too.

Peaceful Retreat

My husband and I enjoyed our first kid-free weekend at this property, and it was EXACTLY what we needed! Every window framed a stunning view of the mountains, and the exterior of the property was as stunning as the interior. It was well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Communicating with the property manager was very pleasant and the guidebook app that was provided gave you everything you could need to know about the property and surrounding area. We booked the recommended masseuse for a private, in-home massage and it was superb! I'm already considering a return trip for a girls weekend!
