First and foremost, the owner (Ryan) was very, but not overwhelmingly, communicative. Expectations and information about the property were clearly established and provided upfront and that was much appreciated. The space is open yet cozy - kitchen/dining/living area are a functional open floor plan while the 2 bedrooms are sufficiently separated from the main spaces. There is a sitting nook ideal for watching the sun rise in the distance. Internet connectivity was solid and stable. Outdoors - hot tub and pool do what you need them to do. You get the best of the high desert views from the back deck - desert landscape but rocky hillsides in the not-far-off-distance. The area the house is located in is isolated enough to get the dark skies necessary for legit stargazing. There are neighboring houses but they are not at all intrusive into the enjoyment of this property.Overall a beautiful property - modern-styling in a beautiful, relatively remote location. Allows you to get away without going off-the-grid or abandoning the comforts of daily life.
