  • This modern hillside villa, built in 2016, offers breathtaking views of the charming town of Joyeuse and its surrounding landscapes. With contemporary furnishings, a cozy fireplace, and a private swimming pool, it’s a stylish retreat for families or friends seeking comfort and tranquility in southern Ardèche.

    Joyeuse is rich in heritage, featuring a 16th-century castle, the Tour de la Recluse, and the chestnut museum Castanea. The town’s weekly market is perfect for fresh produce and local specialties—don’t miss the handmade Macaron de Joyeuse. For dining, enjoy shaded terraces at top-rated restaurants like La fleur de thym, Le Grain de Malice, and Le Cocon.

    Nearby attractions include the iconic Grotte Chauvet 2, the scenic town of Ruoms (15 km), and Vallon Pont d’Arc (25 km) for canoeing, hiking, and river swims. For a relaxing evening, sip drinks at Céven' Café or Sandinista!, and stroll through gardens like Jardins suspendus or Jardin La Terre Pimprenelle. Ik vond het heerlijk om elke ochtend wakker te worden met dat fantastische uitzicht. Joyeuse is zo'n charmant stadje en de markt was een hoogtepunt. Ik raad zeker aan om de Macaron de Joyeuse te proberen, die is zo lekker!
