This beautifully appointed modern holiday residence is located on an estate and was built into a hillside in 2016. This allows you to have from your villa and your private swimming pool, a breathtaking view of the surroundings and the charming little town of Joyeuse.
The furniture and decoration of all the villas are contemporary, comfortable with a fireplace in the living room.
Joyeuse has a rich cultural and historical heritage, including a 16th century castle, the Tour de la Recluse, and the chestnut processing museum "Le Musée de la Châtaigneraie". Shops, bakeries and a large supermarket are also located there.
In the old center, you will find good restaurants where you can enjoy a "dish of the day" under the plane trees. Once a week, there is a large market where you can buy very good fresh products. You must absolutely try the "Macaron de Joyeuse". A delicious meringue that is prepared by hand with almonds and walnuts.
The very touristy Vallon Pont d"Arc (25 km) is ideal for a day trip. The friendly town Ruoms (15 km) is also not to be missed! Canoeing, cycling, hiking, swimming near the river beaches: everything is nearby. The famous Grotte Chauvet Pont d"Arc is also worth a visit.
