Our stay at Wren Cottage was the cherry on top of our lovely vacation. We enjoyed our nights of cribbage by the fireplace and waking up to the breathtaking ocean view. Many slugs were studied by our children, and we were able to appreciate the ocean wildlife from the observation deck. This will be a very fond memory for us to cherish for years to come! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

Quiet cabin/ great views

Lovely cozy cabin , nicely updated, well equipped , beautiful views. We celebrated a birthday and anniversary here - thank you to our hosts for the champagne! Enjoyed the nearby beaches and the trip to port Renfrew and Botanical beach was well worth the windy Drive. Thank you for a great getaway!

Very cute cabin with stunning ocean views!

We loved Wren Cottage! It is very inviting and well laid out. The kitchen is well stocked and the views are spectacular! It is situated closer to the road than we had imagined, but we couldn't hear any traffic noise inside the cabin. Great location for exploring beaches, and the perfect spot for a get-away!

Perfect house for a family with spectacular view

We loved Wrens cottage. The kitchen is well equipped and the view is spectacular. We enjoyed our trips to French Beach, Botanical Beach, Avata Grove and Lighthouse Trail an our evening-walks to the private beach. We hope to come back!

Great Escape

Cozy, beautiful, private. A hidden piece of paradise generously shared by the owners, Carole and Bruce. Communication was prompt and helpful, and every amenity needed for a wonderful stay was provided. We plan to return.

Amazing weekend we needed

We could not of asked for a better stay. It was quiet and clean. Views were amazing. We didn’t see any whales but I am sure they pass by. A propane fire pit/heater for the deck would have been a great addition but we sat indoors when the chill settled in for the evening. We would 100% book again if in the area.

Perfect tranquility

We fell in love this this location right away and knew a week was not going to be long enough. Such a cute, clean house. Just the right amout of cozy with just enough modern touches to make your stay super comfortable. We drank coffee on the deck over the beach each morning and spotted wales, sea lions and a large troop of sea otters. The private beach area a so nice and a great place to relax in the afternoons. We can't wait to visit again.

Sweet, well-equipped cottage with comfy bed and great bathtub. Property is nestled in the trees and offers water and mountain views. It's apparent the owners love their vacation home. If you don't like peace and quiet, this spot is not for you.

Amazing Oceanside Cottage

The location of Wren Point cottage is unparalleled and the home beautifully kept. The decor is a wonderful mix of history and west coast art resulting in a comfortable, homey experience. The platform overlooking the ocean offers an amazing view providing the perfect setting for morning coffee or evening glass of wine. The binoculars provided where great and allowed us to watch some whales from the deck. Would highly recommend the property and can’t wait to visit again!

Absolutely Lovely!

We had the coziest weekend in this little cottage; the space was charming and welcoming, the kitchen spacious and well stocked, and the property was so quiet and relaxing. Curling up by the fire and being able to hear the waves crashing was an absolute highlight. Carol was also so lovely and accommodating, though we really didn't have any questions or concerns while there! It was the perfect spot for a family weekend away, and we wish it could have lasted longer! Will definitely be revisiting this place!

Bliss on the bluff…

We spent a blissful few days at Wren Cottage in early November. The cottage itself was cozy with wonderful views out across the water. The upstairs loft bedroom was especially enticing given its views over the water. Despite the stormy weather, we spent hours watching the light change on the waves while relaxing in front of a roaring fire. We used the cottage as a base to discover all of Sooke’s offerings as well as those of the more western coast up past Port Renfrew. We will definitely make our way back to Wren Cottage….

Piece of Heaven

This charming cottage is a piece of Heaven! If you are looking for a quiet beautiful place to recharge your batteries, you can find it at Wren point cottage. We loved our cozy breakfasts with stunning views of the ocean, hummingbirds, wrens, explored the shore. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed, the host Carol was very quick to respond and made us feel welcomed. This was a family trip for my husband’s 55th Birthday. The cottage is approximately 40 min drive to Victoria or a short drive to east Sooke coast trail or pothole hike. We enjoyed great seafood nearby in Sooke or area, then cozy nights by the fire. We wish we could have stayed longer!

So so great

This was one of, if not the best VRBO properties we’ve ever stayed at. The location was a dream. The steps to the beach are steep, but my 8 and 10 yr old had no problem with them. I expected the beach to be all rocks, but there was sand at low tide and cool tide pool animals to explore. Of all the beaches we visited on this trip, the one associated with the house was a favorite for everyone. The house itself is also great. It was super clean, well stocked with kitchen wares, and the wood stove was a delight each evening. We’re a family of four, and we were perfectly comfortable in the space. There’s a drawer of board games that were a huge hit too. We will 100% be back to this place. What a gem.

Perfect spot for elopement

My wife and I held our private wedding ceremony at this cabin and it was the perfect venue. The cabin and surroundings are very peaceful and the private beach was a gorgeous backdrop for photos. We saw seals, otters, and even a curious black bear came to say hello.We can’t wait to come back soon!

jaw dropping

when we pulled into the driveway at The Cottage at Wren point and walked up on the deck my jaw dropped… the stunning view and property. we were hard put to want to leave the cabin to go explore elsewhere. i loved sitting down on the little viewing deck watching seals, listening to ocean… the cabin is gorgeous

Amazing views with incredible private beach

Clean and cozy with ambiance from the wood stove and the sound of waves against the shore. Spectacular views from the great location near Sooke and nearby parks/public beaches. The private beach access was an unexpected delight complete with adventurous stairway access.
