Great Lake

Great Family Property
This home was perfect for our family gathering. The 11 of us, including 6 children ages 6-19 months, had a great time here. Having a full bath for each bedroom was outstanding. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddleboards, swimming in the lake (shallow lake great for the little ones), making s'mores around the fire in the evening, and spending time together on the deck and in the living/dining room. We also appreciated the owner's recommendation of OxBo Marine for renting a pontoon boat. We would highly recommend this home for families looking for a beautiful place to stay on a quiet lake.

Well Equipped Rental
Stayed at the home for a guys trip on the lake for a long weekend. There were 10 of us total and the house was very comfortable for everyone. The house is as advertised and then some, with lots of activities for everyone both indoors and out, which was great for the rainy afternoon we ran into. Lastly, Jon was very accommodating and made the stay and process very easy. I would strongly suggest this rental and will be coming back again for another trip to the lake!

Girls weekend
Property was great for our girls weekend. We really enjoyed it. There were 15 of us. The house was well stocked and comfortable for our group. We enjoyed the view, large deck, campfire and the yard was great for games. Some of the outside lawn chairs were in pretty bad shape and need to be replaced. Would definitely go back.

Stayed here in August of 2021 with a group of 6 adults and 4 small children. House fit all of us very comfortably with room to spare. Check in process was simple. House has 4 large bedrooms with 4 bathrooms. A big perk is all the boating/beach equipment that come with the house. Another perk is the wonderful views of the lake from porch and living room. Only drawback was that the house was missing some kitchen staples and the internet was a little unreliable.

A Very Enjoyable Family Week
We had a beautiful week with our family. The weather was perfect and the house is large and was very comfortable for our family. There were a lot of kayaks, floats, and paddle boards that our adult "kids" and grandchildren all enjoyed. There were plenty of chairs to take to the shore or the lake and a lot of wood for our evening campfires. We felt it would be nice if the pots/pans in the kitchen were updated so there is a full set to cook with. I'd read that in a review before booking so I took some of mine and was glad I'd done that. The other thing I had read on the site was that you aren't allowed to wear shoes in the house, so my husband and I both took slippers with us as sometimes when you're a senior you can't comfortably spend a week walking without shoes. I understand this as shoes will bring in a lot of dirt/grass! Like I said, it's a lovely and large home and our week was wonderful!

We had a really good time. Our 3rd annual sibling weekend. Very relaxing and so much to do on the property. Jon was really helpful with every request we had. Would definitely stay again. Only issue we had was the neighbors dogs barking even after we talked to her.

Family get away
We wanted a get away with our family. This house was perfect for all 8 of us. Plenty of space. Did not feel crowded or on top of each other at all. We used the basement...pool table and ping pong more than we expected! When we arrived some of the pool sticks were broken and upon contacting the owner he brought us some new ones and other games....just beacuse! He was kind and great to work with. Responded to essays quickly. The house was incredibly clean as well! And the view was spectacular! Would absolutely stay again!

The house was clean and well-supplied. The bathroom/bedroom set-up was ideal for our multi-family unit. My kids loved the access to the paddle boat, kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards. Thanks for a great stay!

Another awesome trip
This was our second time renting this house for my teenage sons birthday. The house is large with lots of beds to sleep alot of people. The property is great. Big yard fairly flat -lots of kayaks and paddleboat and paddle boards. Basement is a mans cave with ping pong, foosball and pool table- nice bathroom and bunk room for kids. Owner very nice and easy check in and check out.

Great getaway for the family
Checkin was simple and we found the house to be as described. We had 11 family members and had plenty of room for everyone. We didn't luck out with the weather which made our outdoor activities difficult but we found things to do inside. The ping pong table was a hit. We did enjoy the pool table but could've used a few more sticks and chalk. There were tvs in all of the bedrooms but not all smart tvs and not all connected to satellite, so bring your own DVDs. We did have an issue with the stove/oven setting off the fire alarm even with the fan running and the windows open. We used this as a fire alarm along with the neighbor's dogs barking! Jon was great to work with. We ran low on propane for the grill on night #2 and he brought us a tank right away. The stairs did make going up and down a little more difficult for some family members but there is outdoor access available. Plenty of toilet paper and kitchen utensils. We could've used a few more pans for cooking for our group and maybe a few updated pieces. You may want to bring a few things like, lighter for the firepit, scissors, paper and pens. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would come back again.

My family of five and another family of six with kids ranging in age from 4-13 had a great time at this property. It was very clean, the owners were so nice and were easy to get in touch with. The kids had a great time with kayaks, paddle boat, paddle board and the large yard. The view was beautiful, too! I would highly recommend!

Great family trip!
We had an excellent family vacation with 7 kids ages 1-20. They played Pool and ping pong in the basement everyday. We had bonfires and s’mores every night. The kids fished off the dock. The owner was responsive and incredibly nice. He took us out tubing and skiing and it was the highlight of our trip. The kids had a blast!! I would highly recommend this rental. The lake was quiet and peaceful. There was a large yard we played badminton and frisbee. The spiral staircase wasn’t an issue, there were other ways to access each floor if needed. The whirlpool tub in the upstairs was a big hit as well. Plenty of towels and amenities there to use. Big Weber grill allowed us to cook for 13 people easily. The kayaks, paddle boat and paddle board were all fun to cruise around the lake on. Couldn’t ask for anything more. We were very satisfied with our stay.

The perfect place to make family memories
We had a wonderful stay with 3 families. The kids slept in the basement bedroom and loved the bunk beds. The downstairs game room was lots of fun. The kitchen was perfect for making meals and there was plenty of seating. The grill was easy to use and had extra propane. The owners responded to all of our requests during our stay and were very helpful. We had fun in the big back yard. There was a great view and access to the lake. WIFI was spotty at the time, but adequate. The new big screen TV was excellent for our movie night.

Very spacious place with great views.
A group of guys, and I stayed for the weekend. The house had more than enough room to accommodate everyone. Check in process and communication with Jon & Chase was extremely easy. The house was cleaned and ready for us upon arrival. The waterfront was great as well as the massive lawn for games and fire pit. All of us really enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a weekend get away.

Family time is the BEST!!! Pandemic, what pandemic..?
Wonderful get away with all 4 of my children, their spouses, and our beautiful grandchildren. We caught 2 fish, enjoyed the paddle board, paddle boat, kayaks, evening fires, ping pong, pool, music, and just fun and games with all our kids. Awesome Fourth of July
Had a big group of our friends from college reunite for the Fourth of July. Jon and Chase were fantastic hosts, easily accommodating us into their beautiful home with plenty of places to sleep. The basement was awesome with the pool table, ping pong table, foosball, as well as the kayaks and paddle boat outside to play in the water during the day. We played games in the yard and Jon took us out water skiing on his boat! Made sure we knew about all the things to go and do on the lake and that he was easy to reach if we ever needed anything. Already thinking about going back again next year! Thank you for an unforgettable weekend.

Great for a weekend getaway
We had a wonderful time at this house celebrating my husband's birthday with a group of friends. There was plenty of room for everyone and the activity room downstairs was excellent on the one rainy day we had. Everyone loved having the kayaks and paddle boat available to explore the lake, which was nice and warm. Definitely recommended for a group of adults looking to have a fun trip!

Fun at the Lake
We rented this lake house for our family and 6 teenage boys. The house is large with plenty of sleeping areas and bathrooms. The kids loved the basement man cave. The yard is level enough to play ball on. The lake is shallow enough if someone falls off their kayak they can easily get back in. Since its so shallow its very warm. You can tube or waterski right in front of house. Owner very friendly and easy to get in touch with. Good times!!
