“Great spot! Location was perfect for what we required, easy to find. Very clean and host was prompt with communication. Highly recommend.”

“Came for two nights, family of four. The cottage itself is very basic and rustic, although views on water are beautiful. The whole experience was negative for us after realizing that we were charged double the nightly rate we booked as well as being charged in USD instead of CAD as we had booked. Rates were changed and charged without our consent. The situation soured our experience considerably. Definitely do not recommend this property nor the platform.”

“We felt the lockbox was on the wrong door and we had a hard time finding the right door. It was around the opposite side of the house. The key is accessed inside the lock box. The kitchen was well equipped and pleasant to use. One suggestion would be to inform incoming guests that the coffee maker was a keurig.”

“It was an amazing experience. The Host was responsive at all times and we met the place in very good shape. I will definitely recommend it to family and friends in the future.”

“Everything was excellent we had fun and enjoyed the pool. Our section was very spacious and enough room for the 4 of us. Very nice location and close drive into Sydney. Only feedback I have is there was not enough pots & pans to cook properly and adding more cooking utensils.”

“A gem of a property on a pristine, serene lake---with every amenity imaginable. Gazebo for lake gazing , dock for swimming and canoeing , easy paddle boat , vegetable gardens , cleared walkways , vista spots to special views and meditating ... and that's just the outdoors. Inside are designer touches, new appliances, stylish furniture, natural light, large rooms, and a great bed. And best of all the hosts who love this place and love sharing it. We felt blessed.”

“Nice location and a good condition ”

“The place was clean, the living room reclining sofa was lovely to relax in. The king bed was very comfortable. Love having the walk-in shower as we have some mobility issues. The decks out front and back allowed you to catch the morning sun out back & the afternoon sun in the front. A great place to relax with a book if we weren't out exploring the Cape Breton scenes. This place is centrally located to go to Sydney, Louisburg and for getting to the Cabot Trail. The host responded in a timely way……
