70 km east of Kuopio. Lake Kärenjärvi 15 m (length 3,5 km, breadth 1 km), deep water. Pier, own boat. Log cabin 1983, renovated 2004, completely renovated in 2023, kitchen/living room with 1 extra bed, 2 bedrooms with 2 beds in each, sauna, dressing room, shower room, open veranda.

A wood fired outside hot tub for rent for 6 people all year round. The availability of the tub must be checked in advance (rented between several cottages). The rent of the tub will be paid to the owner.

Campfire and charcoal grill (the customer brings the coals), also two barbecue huts in shared use by the cottages in the area.
