“Ocean visible from conservatory”

“We stayed recently and sadly had a few issues during our stay.- A poorly positioned smoke detector immediately over stove, easily set off by steam from oven.- saucepans that didn’t work on induction job- no key for door, given code for key pad but door handle had push lock, so managed to get locked out.- Superficially clean, but floors need a good clean and plaster dust over many surfaces on our arrival. Overall a bit disappointed.Great location, easy walk into town and not near busy road.”

“There were no staff, I was sent an email to go to another site to read a message - just send me the message in the email, not difficult!! Unit was dated and because we were the front unit members of the public were opening our door looking for a staff member of which there were none on site. View was gorgeous though!”

“A very enjyable stay. Got to go fishing too, With vision impairment everything was within walking distance.”

“The down stairs room was small and very cold in spite of using the wall heater and very small heat pump.Upstairs was much warmer due to the open stair well.It would have been lovely to sit out on the small balcony but it wasn't warm enough to do so. The view wasn't as good as we thought it would be but we could see the stars well.The bed was very comfortable and we spent more time sitting on the bed due to the cold room downstairs.A pleasant location and some good walks.”

“Place was pretty run down, in need of remodel and repair Good location , except it had a for sale sign blocking part of view. Air conditioner did work till next day ( hot night) Staff was responsive. ”

“There were tech issues with check in, room had a musty smell upon entering but soon cleared when aired out, aside from that location could be better sign posted or at least a photo from road side Room was spacious clean and tidy everything we expected it to be”

“We didn’t get check in information. Luckily there was a cleaner onsite to let us in. While the premises are advertised as slightly tired, and appeared to have a fairly new shower head, the general condition was very poor, with some areas being very dirty. Issues noted, carpet not nice, I had to wear flip flops as not comfortable walking on it. One area in corner looks like it has had carpet mites. One chair broken, not safe to sit on. Disabled seat in shower really unclean. Kitchen curtains-……

“Words fail me. It was the worst place I have ever stayed. The view from our room was of a delapidated old garage full of rubbish collected from the rooms such as old beds and the like. Then there was the back of another hotel with stepladder and a satellite dish. The room was depressing with nothing to use to cook in the microwave. Despite that being the only method of heating food. The furniture was old and decrepit and the settee had a piece of hardboard under the shabby cushions which made……
