Great Community, Wonderful Porches

This house is in a great, cozy, gated community at Alii Point. It has lots of outside seating, some with views and sounds of the ocean. The kitchen was well-equipped and spacious. The bedrooms were both nice and had ample closet space. It was convenient to have a garage, and there were lots of beach gear and snorkel equipment available in it. This place was a really nice place to use as a base to see the west, northwest and southwest parts of the Big Island. Communication with the property manager was excellent. We are very glad we chose this place.

Quiet getaway in a great neighborhood

Beautiful Property

The listing does not show just how beautiful this property really is. Gated community with exclusive high end homes. Grounds in excellent condition. House is beautiful. Two large master suites, one upstairs, one on main level. Perfect for friends or family traveling together. 5 decks. Large lani with seating and dining furniture. Home is well maintained and clean, bug free. Kitchen is large and very well equipped. Rocky beach 50 yds from front deck which is accessible with property key. Highly recommend.

Our island visit

We enjoyed staying in this small, gated community that provided us with privacy and a convenient location from which to head out on our adventures around the island. Lots of space and terrific responsiveness from the property manager when we had questions. Very easy checking in.

Perfect Rental

We have stayed at this property numerous times and it never disappoints. It is a wonderful location, just a few hundred feet from the ocean and in a new gated community. There is a community pool which is always empty. There is Roku cable in every room, flat screen tv's, loads of room, lanais on both the ground floor and the top floor and even a barbq. What else can I say, a perfect place to stay in Kona. Finally the host, Paul, is great to interact with. He is organized and immediately communicates reference questions. I give this rental the highest rating.

Truly Amazing!

We absolutely loved our stay at Ali'i Point. The house was spacious, clean and extremely well-stocked. From the moment we entered it, it felt like home. Location was terrific as well. Gated comunity offers a lot of privacy in the middle of paradize. Close to beaches and nice restaurants. Highly recommend!

Lovely Spacious Home

My husband and I along with two other family members thoroughly enjoyed our 16 day stay. The house is perfect for indoor/outdoor living with several lanais, close to the water, and across the road from a wonderful small market where locals sell their goods. The neighborhood is beautiful and close (by car) to town as well as several beaches.

Lovely spot - especially the upstairs deck with the view. Do not miss the path to the beach right by the house. It took us a few days to find it!

Perfect, secluded, gated house

What a great house, perfectly clean and with a powerful A/C. The ocean is literally 50 yards from the house and the house has numerous lanais on both the bottom and top floor. All of the amenities were in working order and the living room and beds were very comfortable. I would definately stay here again.

Beautiful, spacious, comfortable home

I booked for our family of three (all adults). A lot of space for us, but I wanted lots of options for “spreading out,” which we had more than enough room for. Home extremely well equipped (even a coffee grinder—but I had wished for a salad spinner). So lovely to relax on the lanai and take a nap or drink Kona coffee in the morning and listen to the many birds. With two lanais and two full bathrooms, it would be perfect for two couples. Ridiculous amount of closet space. A short amble out the gate to a very quiet beach spot. My daughter spied a sea turtle one day, but I only caught the occasional surfer. Minor quibbles: the jet tub didn’t work, the towels were pretty well used and very rough (but the beach towels were fine), and the old washing machine tore a hole in my shirt (admittedly not a new or high quality garment). Friendly, walkable neighborhood, but not quite walkable to town. Right across the street from a great marketplace, though, which (aside from produce) I enjoyed better than the farmer’s market in town. Worth the extra cost for the comforts.

Beautiful peaceful location

Beautiful tropical peaceful location with views of the ocean from upstairs balcony, or sitting on lanai downstairs. The house with 2 large master suites makes it ideal for multiple couples or extended family. The property manager is exceptional and available for any and all questions.

The property was as shown in pictures. We loved our stay and especially loved the pool. Access to the ocean was very easy and we enjoyed time there. We would stay again.

Perfect Location

Each room was much larger than typical 2BRs. The house felt much bigger. Lots of outside lanai deck space. We loved the short walk to the beach each morning & sunsets in the evening. Pool was really convenient. Property Manager was outstanding. Will be staying there again.
