I chose this hotel to be right at the base of Meteora and the views were incredible. The room was spacious and clean. A very nice breakfast is available for a very reasonable price -well worth it. Easy parking. We walked down to the town square and ate at one of the restaurants recommended by the lady at the front desk - one of our best meals of our trip and had a "locals" vibe. This was a great hotel and very convenient for your travels to Meteora.

What an amazing stay in Meteora. This hotel is a gem with a breath taking view of the monoliths. There is plenty of parking, it’s very clean and in a quiet area. A short drive or walk and your in the village where we got to see the amazing local market and plenty of shops. The room is very clean and comfortable. We had a balcony on the second floor and it was perfect. A short 10 minute drive brings you up to the monasteries and viewpoints that will take your breath away. I highly recommend going to see the sunset at the viewpoints.

Not many amenities to speak of but overall it was a very nice property with good views of the mountains up close. Super friendly staff got us checked in within minutes. Very cute town. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

What to say! Our room was exceptional in many ways. The beds and different types of pillows show that they give attention to comfort and details. The bed is sooo comfortable. The room smells very clean and the decor is tastefully authentic with traditional high quality materials. The room has a stunning view and there is a beautiful terrace. The surroundings are extremely calm. The hostess Athanasia was so kind and helpful. We will definitely choose this hotel when we go back to Kalambáka and Meteora. Friendly helpful staff, loved my room and view! AC worked well. Did not try breakfast. Very quiet location and a beautiful little trail just up the hill for a perfect evening or morning stroll.

This is a very cool property – old with beautiful woodwork-and well maintained with lots of neat details. The girls at the front desk were delightful – we got room service every day without asking – plenty of hot coffee in the morning – and beautiful views of the rocks from our front balcony – I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to enjoy Meteora and their lodgings.

Alsos House was awesome! We are a family of 5 with 3 kids under the age of 13 and we loved it. The room was spacious, kitchen was great and you can't beat the location. We walked right out the door and up the street to the hiking trail to 2 of the monasteries. Then we got back and walked down the street towards town and had great meals and ice cream. The atmosphere at Alsos House is great too. The architecture is really cool and in the evenings it was great to sit on the patio and drink wine while enjoying the view. Fabulous!
