Relaxing stay

A wonderful stay with the delightful Costas and Irida. An authentic Greek resort a few minutes walk along the sea front from the local village with many restaurants. Costas has a great knowledge of the historical sites to visit in the Peloponnese and will help in any way he can.

Charming resort right at Kalo Nero beach. Everything was super clean and the owners are very nice and helpful - you can tell they really care about their guests having a great stay. The room was as promised on the website, and the kitchenette and balcony were both great additions. Quiet / relaxing. Fun learning experience - loggerhead turtles nest at Kalo Nero in the summer. The nests we saw were near the rockier portions of the beach. There was even an information booth if kids had questions. Easy drive to most Peloponnese attractions. Excellent place for families to stay.

Nice place to stay

We visited in the quiet season and there were very few guests. The hosts are very kind and helpful, providing us with a local map and suggestions of local sights and restaurants. We slept later than expected on the first day and found that breakfast had been prepared promptly for 9am which is the time we suggested for breakfast. This meant the food had been waiting for us for some time. The hosts are very keen to be helpful and the breakfast was enough to feed twice as many people than our small family of three with options for everyone - eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, cheese, cucumber, cheese and ham toasties, Danish pastries, croissants, and more! I hate to see food waste so the next day I went down early to suggest that we would just have toast and pastries (cereal is available too).

Struttura di recente costruzione, moderna, ben tenuta. Il personale attento alle tue esigenze, ottima colazione con cibo fresco. Il proprietario ottimo conoscitore della storia greca può fornire dettagliate informazioni sui siti da visitare. La struttura è appena fuori dell' abitato , che si può raggiungere in circa 5 minuti a piedi percorrendo una comoda strada asfaltata, lungo mare e poco trafficata. davanti alla struttura ci sono ombrelloni e lettini, la spiaggia è mista sabbia e ciotoli. Il mare è molto limpido; l' accesso può essere difficoltoso per la presenza di ricci sul fondo, ma spostandosi circa 50 metri a sud o a nord il problema non si pone più.

The hotel and the room were very clean, the kitchen was well equipped. The staff/owners were very friendly and helpful. They recommended nice tourist attractions in the area. The breakfast was healthy and delicious, the best hotel breakfast I have ever had. I would recommend and return.

Au bord de la plage

hôtel à 10mn du village à pied. La plage est devant mais c'est plus accessible plus loin. hôtel pour les familles. on est bien reçu le patron vous orientera volontiers sur les excursions à faire. On mange très bien au village. petit déjeuner prévu pour très gros mangeurs avec les oeufs du patron!

A gem off the beaten track...

The welcome we received at the Best Western Irida was warm and personal. The owners went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and helped us with our visit of the local area. The beachfront location is stunning and the room was excellent. The breakfast was beyond compare. We highly recommend the Best Western Irida.

Great hotel & staff on the beautiful Ionian Sea

Irida Resort is set on the beautiful Ionian coast at Kalo Nero. From the moment I arrived the family (Kostas, his wife Irini and two children and there staff) who run the hotel made me feel very welcome. They helped me fulfil everything on my to do list! I can't tell you how much I appreciate all their help, support and kindness. The area is in a conservation area which means it is not overdeveloped and spoilt. Your are able to enjoy the natural beauty of the area but still within close proximity to lovely restaurants and bars and the nearby town of Kyparissia. Great hotel & staff on the beautiful Ionian Sea

Irida Resort is set on the beautiful Ionian coast at Kalo Nero. From the moment I arrived the family (Kostas, his wife Irini and two children and there staff) who run the hotel made me feel very welcome. They helped me fulfil everything on my to do list! I can't tell you how much I appreciate all their help, support and kindness. The area is in a conservation area which means it is not overdeveloped and spoilt. Your are able to enjoy the natural beauty of the area but still within close proximity to lovely restaurants and bars and the nearby town of Kyparissia. I even got the chance to see some Hellonas (Turtles) not the protected sea turtles Caretta who's nests line the coast but some freshwater turtles! Magical! Wish I could have stayed longer!

Best Western Irida Resort

We were overwhelmed by the welome we received. Costa and his wife were very hospitable and nothing was too much trouble. He even checked that fresh fish for dinner was available at a nearby restaurant. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. We would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to other people.

Wonderful hosts, beautiful view,great memories

Good night's sleep then wake to a wonderful breakfast and friendly faces. A good place to relax listening to the waves at the beach or sit on your balcony and listen to the birds singing. Can't think of a more restful place.
