「Very nicely appointed rooms and a big walk in shower, separate from the tub. The main lobby was beautiful, restaurant is very nice. They also offer room service. There is also a nice spa on campus, but we did not have time to investigate. Breakfast was included, the hotel offers a lovely buffet. Also noticed after the fact, that I did not receive the 20% off a restaurant order offered through Expedia for Key members. I would stay here again.」

「We had a one night stay at Safari Moon and we are so glad we did! This is such a warm, lovely boutique lodge with the kindest staff and clean beautiful rooms. We had a couples massage and it was fantastic! As a type 1 Diabetic, they absolutely tweaked the menu to accommodate my needs and it was terrific! This is a very special place and if we ever find ourselves any where near Hoedspruit, do not hesitate to stay at Safari Moon...you won't regret it!」

「I should preface this review by saying that I am a professional wildlife photographer. I have stayed at dozens of safari lodges both expensive high-end and ‘budget’, all over Southern and East Africa. The Blyde River Canyon Lodge is great. While not exactly a safari lodge as such (it’s not in a true wildlife park) the architectural style is very ‘safari chic’ using a lot of local natural materials and thatched roofing. It is very close to the ‘Panorama Route Drive’ and the spectacular Blyde...

「Very nice team, quite, discret, available, very professional. Note: 20/20 The location is very nice with an amazing view of the surounding mountains and cliff. Unfortunately, we stayed only one night. We saw many animals on the way and around the lodge (monkeys, impalas, gnou, mangusts and a rare red deer) with a particular enjoyable wake-up when opening the curtains: a girafe standing and drinking in front of the terrasse at 6 am.」
