Amazing unique experience . Randy provided us with an extensive tour of the whole property and made us feel most welcome. Beautiful room, comfortable bed, quiet location, We particularly enjoyed the wood fired sauna, hot tub and cold dip in the copper tub.

It's a very unique location on the water with interesting artwork all over the property, four acres to explore, various buildings including a yurt and a yoga studio. We stayed only one night but we hesitated to leave because the vibe was very relaxing.

Helpful staff, especially when needing to change rooms! Would have preferred a small fridge in our room for convenience of breakfast, etc. A great retreat with many relaxing things to do. Wish we'd stayed longer to enjoy them all!

Loved everything about the place, it’s slightly remote which added to the overall appeal. It did offer breakfast at a price, though there is no restaurant at the facility, Kaslo is a few minutes away with plenty of options. You want peace and quiet with access to an amazing area to explore, I would strongly recommend The Sentinel.

Can't explain it BUT amazing place. In front of the lake away from all the amenities. Peaceful, quiet enjoying every moment of it. Will definitely coming back next year. Staff is very helpful and thx Q.

Not what I expected when I booked it, but pleasantly surprised. It’s a great set up with lovely rooms and bathrooms with underfloor heating. The common area in the main house is a great place to meet in the morning for coffee ( good machine and great coffee). Log burner with redwood logs. The staff ( Janet and Daniel) were very helpful and pleasant. I’d stay there again if passing through.
